Responsible for sorting, washing, drying, folding, distributing, and tracking hotel linens, uniforms, and textiles. Maintains adequate inventory, fulfills housekeeping supply requests, records lost items, operates laundry equipment safely, maintains clean work areas, reports equipment issues, and follows hygiene and safety standards. The role requires physical work, organization, attention to detail, teamwork, autonomy, and professional French and English bilingualism.
Relevant de la Directrice de l’entretien ménager, la personne en poste est responsable du traitement, de l’entretien et de la distribution du linge de l’hôtel. Elle veille à assurer la disponibilité du linge nécessaire aux différents départements tout en respectant les normes de qualité, d’hygiène et de sécurité établies par l’établissement.
Responsibilities- Trier, laver, sécher, plier et préparer le linge, les uniformes et les autres articles textiles selon les normes établies.
- Assurer la distribution et la récupération du linge auprès des différents départements de l’hôtel.
- Veiller à maintenir un inventaire adéquat du linge et signaler toute pénurie ou tout article endommagé.
- Enregistrer, classer les objets perdus et répondre au différentes demandes des clients
- Approvisionner les demandes de fournitures des préposé(e)s aux chambres
- Utiliser les équipements de la lingerie de façon sécuritaire et conformément aux procédures établies.
- Maintenir les espaces de travail propres, organisés et sécuritaires.
- Respecter les normes d’hygiène, de santé et de sécurité en vigueur.
- Collaborer avec les membres de l’équipe de l’entretien ménager afin d’assurer la disponibilité du linge nécessaire aux opérations quotidiennes.
- Signaler tout bris ou dysfonctionnement des équipements à son supérieur immédiat.
- Effectuer toutes autres tâches connexes demandées par son supérieur.
Qualifications
- Avoir une expérience pertinente dans un poste similaire, idéalement dans le domaine hôtelier.
- Être disponible pour travailler les fins de semaine de 14h00 à 22h00
- Être capable de travailler de façon autonome tout en ayant un bon esprit d’équipe.
- Faire preuve d’organisation, de rigueur et d’un bon sens des priorités.
- Être en mesure d’effectuer un travail physique et de manipuler des charges.
- Avoir le souci du détail et un intérêt marqué pour la qualité du travail.
