Job Summary
As an Executive Director - Futures Execution Product in the New York team, you will oversee all aspects of the execution product suite, including portal strategy, algorithmic trading, analytics, risk management, market access, and post-trade services. You will set and execute the strategic vision, partner with Sales, Trading, and senior stakeholders, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver innovative product solutions. You will represent the product suite to senior management, clients, and external partners, driving adoption and advocating for its value.
Job responsibilities
  • Set and execute the strategic vision for the Futures Execution product, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market trends
  • Partner with Sales, Trading, and senior stakeholders to define and prioritize commercial opportunities and innovative solutions
  • Oversee the development of comprehensive business requirements and ensure robust documentation for all product initiatives
  • Lead cross-functional teams-including Technology, Operations, Compliance, and regulatory/control partners-to deliver end-to-end product solutions
  • Drive platform strategy, including portal enhancements, algorithmic trading capabilities, analytics, risk management frameworks, market access, and post-trade service improvements
  • Represent the product suite to senior management, clients, and external partners, advocating for its value and driving adoption

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Extensive understanding of global Futures & Options market structure, including major exchanges, regulatory frameworks (MiFID II, CFTC), and clearing processes
  • Deep expertise in electronic trading, including leading Futures & Options ISVs, vendor EMS products, client connectivity solutions, FIX Protocol, and algorithmic trading strategies
  • Strong background in technology systems and platforms, with experience integrating and implementing Order Management Systems and related infrastructure
  • Proven ability to leverage technology and analytics to enhance trading performance, operational efficiency, and risk management
  • Strategic problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex challenges creatively and efficiently
  • Exceptional planning, organizational, and verification capabilities
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across all levels and disciplines
  • Proficient in documenting business requirements and presenting to senior management, clients, and external partners
  • Demonstrated ability to advocate for and drive adoption of delivered products
  • Inspirational leadership skills, with a track record of guiding teams to achieve ambitious goals
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience leading global product initiatives in Futures & Options
  • Advanced degree in finance, technology, or related discipline
  • Experience with platform strategy and product development in electronic trading environments
