As a Vice President on the Prime Financial Services (PFS) Americas Sales team, you will own and grow key institutional client relationships and drive revenue across J.P. Morgan’s platform, with a focus on cleared derivatives solutions and prime finance opportunities. Success in this role requires strong market and client fluency, product knowledge, and a highly collaborative approach with partners across Trading, Product, Risk, Credit, and the broader Sales organization to deliver comprehensive coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and prospect new client relationships; deepen existing partnerships, and grow revenues across the institutional segment (asset managers, corporates, insurers, pensions, banks).
- Deliver thoughtful market color tailored to clients, including macro themes and market-structure considerations.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, opportunities and translate into actionable commercial strategy.
- Contribute to training, mentoring, and development of junior team members while fostering an inclusive, high-performance team environment.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- 5+ years of relevant institutional sales experience; Series 3, 7, and 63 required.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with investor clients across trading, operations, treasury and portfolio management.
- Strong product knowledge in cleared derivatives and prime finance, and strong understanding of market structure.
- Critical thinker with meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to translate analysis into commercial outcomes.
- Articulate communicator with strong presentation skills; able to tailor messaging across senior stakeholders.
- Inclusive, team-first leader who partners effectively across functions and performs well in a fast-paced, continuously evolving environment.
- Fluency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
