This role is responsible for defining and executing the architecture strategy for one of the firm's most critical and highly regulated business domains, ensuring technology investments support business growth, regulatory commitments, operational resilience, and long-term modernization objectives. As the senior architecture authority for the portfolio, you will drive the evolution of Treasury and Liquidity capabilities across applications, data, integrations, cloud platforms, and emerging technologies. You will lead large-scale modernization initiatives, drive simplification and rationalization of complex technology ecosystems, establish enterprise data and integration patterns, and advance the firm's adoption of cloud-native architectures, AI-enabled capabilities, intelligent automation, and next-generation engineering practices. You will play a critical role in shaping the future-state architecture for Treasury and Liquidity while helping establish reusable patterns and standards that can be leveraged across the broader Risk and Finance technology landscape.
In this role, you will:
  • Bring a unique combination of deep Treasury and Liquidity domain expertise, enterprise architecture leadership, data and integration strategy experience, modern AI and engineering skills, and the ability to remain actively engaged in hands-on solution architecture and execution

  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership on implementing the transformation strategy describing the current state, target state, and transition architecture
  • Develop and influence strategic plans, investment planning, and execution on cutover strategies to target
  • Own the end-to-end architecture strategy, roadmap, and target-state design for Treasury and Liquidity technology platforms, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory commitments, and enterprise technology strategy.
  • Serve as the lead architect and trusted advisor for Treasury, Liquidity Risk, Balance Sheet Management, Funding, Regulatory Reporting, and related Risk and Finance capabilities.
  • Partner with senior business, product, engineering, risk, and technology leaders to define strategic technology investments and drive long-term modernization initiatives.
  • Lead architecture for complex transformation programs, including application modernization, cloud adoption, platform consolidation, data modernization, and legacy technology retirement.
  • Define and implement scalable architecture patterns across data, applications, integrations, APIs, event-driven platforms, cloud services, and enterprise technology ecosystems.
  • Establish enterprise data architecture standards, including canonical models, data products, metadata management, lineage, controls, and trusted data consumption patterns.
  • Drive adoption of API-first, event-driven, and domain-oriented architecture patterns to improve agility, resiliency, and business responsiveness.
  • Provide deep hands-on technical leadership by reviewing solution designs, guiding engineering teams, resolving complex architecture challenges, and ensuring successful implementation of strategic solutions.
  • Evaluate, architect, and enable emerging technologies including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Agentic AI, intelligent automation, advanced analytics, and next-generation decisioning capabilities within the Risk and Finance ecosystem.
  • Lead architecture governance activities including Solution Reviews, AI Reviews, ARB, security reviews, and enterprise technology standards compliance.
