Make Your Mark:
We are on the lookout for an experienced Principal Business Systems Analyst to spearhead the optimization of our business processes in the areas of Quoting, Contracting, and Bookings. This role demands a deep understanding of the transactional aspects of Sales Operations and Legal teams. The ideal candidate will be adept at navigating the complexities of cross-functional impacts, especially concerning Sales, Legal, Finance, and Renewal teams. Proficiency in the Salesforce platform and familiarity with CPQ, Billing, and CLM systems like Zuora and Conga are highly desirable. As the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the IT organization, this role is crucial for transforming our approach to these core business processes through strategic IT solutions.
You'll Get To:

  • Act as the primary IT point of contact for Sales Operations and Legal teams, thoroughly understanding and effectively translating business requirements into actionable IT strategies and solutions.
  • Lead the analysis, redesign, and implementation of business processes related to Quoting, Contracting, and Bookings, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Gather, document, and validate requirements from business counterparts, proposing innovative business processes and solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between Sales, Legal, Finance, Renewal teams, and IT, ensuring smooth implementation and adoption of new processes and systems.
  • Oversee the delivery of technology solutions from inception through to completion, coordinating with technical development teams within the IT organization.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the Salesforce platform, CPQ, Billing, and CLM systems (e.g., Zuora, Conga), leveraging these tools to meet business needs.
  • Continuously monitor and assess new technologies and best practices in the domain, recommending improvements to maintain competitive edge and operational efficiency.


What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Business Systems Analyst role, with extensive experience in Sales Operations, Legal processes, and the associated technology solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce, as well as CPQ, Billing, and CLM systems like Zuora and Conga.
  • Proven ability to analyze and redesign business processes, with a track record of implementing successful process improvements.
  • Excellent project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional projects.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of engaging and influencing stakeholders at various levels.
  • Analytical thinker with a problem-solving orientation and meticulous attention to detail.

Salary Range:
USD $201,000.00 - USD $269,000.00
Pay Transparency Statement:
Placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant's prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, BlackLine also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans.
