Job Title:  Principal OCI Cloud Architect
Location: 2 Broadway, New York, NY 10004
Client: Metropolitan Transportation Authority
Duration: 12 Months

Note: This position requires the consultant to work 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.

Position Overview:

  • This role focuses on designing cloud architectures primarily for Oracle Cloud along with AWS, Azure, frameworks, governance models, and cloud standards for the organization.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience partnering with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, multi/hybrid‑cloud architectures.
  • This role may require guiding engineering teams or supplementing their skill sets.
  • A strong foundation in on‑premises infrastructure is essential due to hybrid integrations and migration initiatives.
  • The organization is also planning to expand Infrastructure‑as‑Code capabilities.

  • OCI: 6–9 years
  • Azure / AWS / GCP: 1–2 years each (nice to have)
  • Hybrid Infrastructure: 4–6 years
