Lead zero-to-one discovery and execution for an autonomous threat-hunting product. Work directly with SOC analysts, detection engineers, and threat hunters to validate problems, define epics and success criteria, and partner with engineering and research to ship features that improve security outcomes and replace SIEM-centered workflows with hunt-first operations.

About Us

Nebulock is an agentic threat hunting platform that autonomously surfaces behaviors, not just IOCs, from various data sources. Nebulock acts like a teammate: a 24/7 AI threat hunter that investigates hypotheses, reasons through telemetry, and learns from an environment. Today, threat hunting is broken. Security teams spend weeks chasing alerts, writing detections by hand, and manually validating findings often just to confirm what their existing tools already flagged. Meanwhile, attackers exploit credentials, move laterally, and operate in silence. Nebulock flips the model. We continuously and autonomously hunt across endpoint, identity, and cloud telemetry. We identify the subtle behavioral signals that point to credential misuse, lateral movement, insider threats, and post-access activity. Then we turn those hunts into hardened, behavior-based detections automatically.

Position Overview

If you're a cybersecurity practitioner turned product leader, this one's for you.

You'll join our product team as a Principal PM, reporting to the Head of Product, and you will own significant, ambiguous problem spaces from discovery through delivery. This role spikes in two places:

  • Zero-to-one discovery. You'll spend real time with SOC analysts, detection engineers, and threat hunters to figure out what to build next. You'll validate problems before we write code, kill ideas that don't survive contact with customers, and turn fuzzy market signals into sharp product bets.

  • Execution with R&D. Discovery means nothing if it doesn't ship. You'll partner daily with engineering and research to turn validated bets into epics with crisp success criteria, make scope tradeoffs that keep velocity high, and get products into customers' hands fast.

Expected Impact

A year from now you'll have shipped things that measurably improve security outcomes and strengthen our customers' security posture, all in a modern, agentic way.

Nebulock is an AI-native company, but we aren't building AI for the sake of AI. Automating, reasoning, and delivering autonomous security outcomes is what we do day in, day out, and the products you own will embody that. Your work will move customers meaningfully away from their SIEM toward hunt-first operations, your discovery will shape where we place our next bets, and R&D will point to your epics as the clearest they've worked from.

Qualifications
  • Deep cybersecurity knowledge. You've lived the problems we're solving; experience in SOC, IR, or threat research roles is a big plus. You can hold your own in a conversation about detection logic, attacker tradecraft, or why a hunt hypothesis is worth pursuing.

  • Solid product management skills. You're comfortable writing epics and stories, defining success criteria, and partnering closely with R&D. You know how to run discovery and how to translate it into things engineers can build.

  • A shipping track record. This won't be your first PM role. You've shipped things that matter and learned from what didn't.

  • Comfort with speed and ambiguity. We're a Series A company moving fast. You'll often be the one bringing structure to a problem nobody has framed yet.

How we work

If books like Inspired (Marty Cagan), Product Management in Practice (Matt LeMay), and Extreme Ownership (Willink/Babin) resonate with you, you'll likely thrive here. We favor empowered teams over feature factories, direct customer contact over secondhand requirements, and owning outcomes over assigning blame.

Compensation

We offer a competitive compensation package comprised of a base salary, equity and comprehensive benefits. The base salary for this role is $200,000 to $230,000. Compensation packages are determined based on a number of factors including but not limited to, role related experience, skillset, and geographic location.

Benefits
  • Health, dental, and vision coverage

  • Unlimited PTO

  • Remote working flexibility

  • Life Insurance

  • 401k
