Position Summary:

PatientNow is seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Principal Product Manager to lead product direction across our AI-powered growth and patient engagement platform. This role will own the product roadmap, partner closely with engineering leadership, and ensure product investments align with customer needs, business objectives, and long-term platform strategy.

As a key member of our product team, you will work directly with the CTO and engineering team to transform customer insights, market opportunities, and business priorities into a cohesive product vision. You will balance strategic planning with hands-on execution, creating detailed requirements, driving alignment across stakeholders, and ensuring features deliver measurable customer and business value.

Success in this role will be measured by customer adoption, retention, platform cohesion, and the ability to scale product operations as the business continues to grow.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own and maintain the company-wide product roadmap across AI, voice, messaging, scheduling, payments, and related platform initiatives.
  • Partner with executive leadership to define product strategy, priorities, and long-term platform direction.
  • Translate customer needs, founder ideas, and internal stakeholder requests into structured product requirements and actionable development plans.
  • Create and maintain detailed product requirements documents (PRDs), user stories, acceptance criteria, and release documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and QA teams to ensure successful delivery of high-quality product releases.
  • Map and optimize end-to-end customer workflows, identifying opportunities to improve usability, adoption, and business outcomes.
  • Conduct customer interviews, gather feedback, and synthesize insights into product recommendations and roadmap priorities.
  • Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitive offerings to identify strategic growth opportunities.
  • Establish scalable communication processes that provide transparency into roadmap decisions, product releases, and development priorities.
  • Monitor product performance, feature adoption, customer retention, and usage metrics to ensure product investments generate measurable value.
  • Identify and proactively manage product dependencies, tradeoffs, risks, and resource constraints.
  • Champion a disciplined product development process that balances speed, quality, customer impact, and long-term platform scalability.

Education/Experience:

  • 6+ years of product management experience, preferably within a high-growth SaaS or technology company.
  • Proven experience owning significant product strategy, roadmap development, and successful product delivery.
  • Strong experience creating product requirements, user stories, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with engineering teams on technically complex products.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to bring clarity to ambiguous situations.
  • Experience conducting customer discovery, user research, and translating feedback into actionable product improvements.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using product metrics to drive decision-making and prioritization.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-moving environment.
  • Experience collaborating directly with executive leadership and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AI-powered products, automation platforms, or conversational technologies.
  • Experience building workflow-intensive B2B SaaS applications.
  • Familiarity with communications platforms, scheduling systems, payment technologies, or CRM products.
  • Experience working with SQL, AI-assisted development tools, or technical product analysis tools.
  • Experience managing products with adoption, retention, and Net Revenue Retention (NRR) goals.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace and modern collaboration tools.
