Principal Technical Program Manager

As Global Delivery and Transformation Lead, you will set the execution strategy and lead a portfolio of high-priority initiatives across the Global Technology Center network. You will convert enterprise priorities into integrated roadmaps, scalable delivery models, and coordinated execution across regions and locations. In partnership with senior leaders and stakeholders globally, you will drive alignment, adoption, and measurable business and technology outcomes.

JPMorgan Chase’s Global Technology Centers (GTC) are the backbone of our technology organization representing approximately 96% of our 68,000 technologists across 24 strategic locations worldwide. The GTC advance Global Technology priorities through a connected network of local leadership, standardized frameworks, scalable capabilities, and a strong community-driven culture.

This role requires a seasoned transformation and program management leader who can navigate a complex global, matrixed environment, exercise sound executive judgment, influence without direct authority, and create clarity, accountability, and execution discipline across large-scale, multi-workstream initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of strategic initiatives across global Tech Centers, from strategy and planning through execution, adoption, benefits realization and continuous improvement.

• Develop and manage integrated transformation roadmaps, including scope, investment, capacity, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, critical paths, delivery quality and expected benefits.

• Establish effective governance, operating cadence, and executive reporting that enable timely decisions, transparency, effective escalation, and clear accountability for delivery. 

• Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to align priorities, resolve enterprise dependencies and trade-offs, and translate strategic and operational requirements into integrated delivery plans.

• Lead change management, stakeholder engagement, and adoption strategies that embed new capabilities and ways of working consistently while accounting for local requirements.

• Uses enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate program planning, dependency/risk synthesis, and executive-ready reporting, validating outputs and handling data according to sensitivity requirements.

• Define and track success measures, including adoption, delivery predictability, productivity, risk reduction, stakeholder outcomes, and benefits realization; provide senior leaders with clear insights, options, and recommendations.

• Strengthen delivery capability across the network by establishing reusable standards, controls, tools, and program management practices, informed by performance data and lessons learned.

• Mobilize globally distributed, cross-functional teams, clarify ownership and decision rights, and drive accountability for commitments and outcomes across organizational boundaries.

• Promotes reuse-first, AI-assisted practices for program governance and continuous improvement routines, ensuring human review and alignment to delivery standards.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• 12+ years of experience leading complex programs, enterprise transformations, or strategic portfolios in a large global organization.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

• PMP, PgMP, or comparable program or project management certification.

• Proven experience leading large, cross-functional, multi-workstream programs from strategy and business case development through implementation, adoption, and benefits realization.

• Demonstrated ability to advise and influence senior executives, exercise sound judgment, and drive decisions and outcomes across organizational and geographic boundaries.

• Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support technical program management workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
• Ability to review and validate AI-assisted plans, risks, and recommendations before use, escalating when uncertain and following data handling expectations.

• Strong portfolio and program management, financial management, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities, including experience managing investment, capacity, budgets, benefits, ambiguity, competing priorities, and complex enterprise trade-offs.

• Excellent executive communication and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable recommendations.

• Experience leading globally distributed, cross-functional teams and building delivery capability through coaching, standards, and disciplined execution

• Demonstrated experience managing material delivery risks, cross-program dependencies, financial commitments, and control requirements within complex transformation portfolios.

• Experience implementing standardized frameworks and ways of working across multiple locations 

• Strong financial and business acumen.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Experience leading technology-enabled transformation within a global technology organization; financial services experience preferred.
