Monstro is an AI-native fintech platform reimagining how people and institutions manage money. We’re building a modern foundation for financial decision-making—combining intelligence, automation, and elegant design to help users make smarter choices with confidence.
Our team includes experienced builders from leading fintech, wealth management, and technology companies, united by a shared goal: to create a category-defining product that transforms how financial insight is delivered and acted on.
Monstro is hiring a senior Wealth Strategy Subject Matter Expert to serve as the internal authority on comprehensive wealth management across cashflow, tax, legal, investment, and financial planning domains.
This role is comparable in scope and seniority to a Principal Wealth Strategist or Advanced Planning Strategist at top-tier financial institutions. It is a foundational hire, responsible for ensuring that Monstro’s early financial logic reflects institution-grade rigor, correctness, and cross-domain judgment.
Why This Role MattersMonstro is building an intelligence-first financial platform where early decisions compound quickly. Errors in wealth logic — especially across tax, legal, and investment domains — create downstream risk that is difficult to unwind later.
This role exists to ensure:
- Technical correctness from the outset
- Cross-domain dependencies are properly understood and modeled
- Simplification is intentional, not accidental
You will work closely with Monstro’s Founder, who brings deep wealth management and family office experience. This role expands that expertise into durable, scalable logic that can safely inform product behavior over time.

- Review and validate early advice frameworks, assumptions, and edge cases
- Act as a senior technical reviewer for high-impact or high-risk planning scenarios
- Ensure early decisions withstand expert scrutiny and institutional expectations

- Translate expert financial judgment into:
- Rules
- Constraints
- Decision frameworks
- Partner with product and engineering to inform how financial logic is implemented
