About the company

Our client is a fast-growing software company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Build and run a new sales partnership channel with private equity firms, developing relationships with their operating and value creation teams and turning them into a steady source of qualified pipeline for account executives. The role is measured on closed recurring revenue that you source, and you will start as the first hire on the channel.

What you'll do

- Build the channel from the ground up, including the target firm list, outreach approach, partner value proposition and handoff into sales.

- Cultivate connections with senior people in sponsor-side operations and value-creation functions across a broad set of investment firms in several sectors.

- Survey the holdings of each target sponsor to spot businesses with heavy back-office workloads, then open doors to their senior finance executives.

- Track the partner funnel and report on it weekly, covering firms engaged, companies introduced, meetings sourced and closed recurring revenue.

- Design and test a motion that lets a sponsor prioritize and roll out a packaged deployment across several portfolio companies.

- Turn successful customer deployments into wider conversations with the sponsoring firm, working with customer and solutions teams.

- Represent the company across the private equity ecosystem, including industry forums, events, dinners and adjacent advisory firms.

- Partner with account executives on each sourced opportunity from introduction through close, and with marketing on private equity content, case studies and events.

- Share market feedback on which firms convert, what operating partners value, and what the product needs for portfolio-wide use.
