Who we are:
At Vireo Health, we’re not just another cannabis company—we’re a movement. Founded by physicians and driven by innovation, we blend science, technology, and passion to create top-tier cannabis products and experiences. Our team of 500+ bold creators and trailblazers are shaping the future of the industry, and we want you to be part of it.
We take pride in being one of the most diverse and inclusive workplaces in cannabis, fostering a culture where everyone belongs. Through employee engagement, community events, and non-profit partnerships, we’re building more than a business—we’re building a community.
As we rapidly expand nationwide, we’re looking for talented, driven, and passionate people to join us. If you’re ready to turn your passion into a career, let’s grow the future together.
What the role is about:
As a Procurement Coordinator, you will serve as the connective point between Vireo Health’s corporate procurement team, internal departments, and vendors — managing purchasing workflows, tracking approvals, and coordinating delivery timelines. This role works with greater autonomy than the Procurement Administrator and may mentor junior staff, but focuses on keeping the procurement process moving smoothly rather than vendor negotiation. This is a remote position with some travel required based on business needs, for team meetings, vendor visits, or site support; standard business hours apply, with occasional flexibility needed to accommodate vendor time zones or urgent order issues.
What impact you’ll make:

  • Review and process purchase requisitions submitted by internal departments; issue standard purchase orders accurately and within established turnaround times
  • Coordinate purchase order workflows across multiple departments/entities, ensuring timely approvals and processing
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between requesting departments, vendors, and receiving teams
  • Track and follow up on delivery timelines, coordinating with vendors and internal teams to resolve delays
  • Manage vendor onboarding coordination, ensuring required documentation is collected and routed for approval
  • Resolve escalated invoice, pricing, or delivery discrepancies by coordinating between AP, vendors, and requesting departments
  • Support RFQ/RFP processes by organizing and distributing requests and compiling vendor responses with management
  • Maintain procurement spend reports by category, department, and entity
  • Track contract renewal dates and notify relevant stakeholders ahead of deadlines
  • Coordinate logistics scheduling with vendors and third party logistics providers as needed
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal departments on more complex procurement questions
  • Support budget tracking and purchasing policy compliance
  • Roles and responsibilities may shift over time, and these duties may not cover the full scope of work

What you've accomplished:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • 4–6 years of procurement or purchasing experience
  • Strong Excel skills; experience with ERP/procurement systems (e.g., Business Central) a plus
  • Strong coordination and follow-up skills across multiple stakeholders
  • Comfortable working with spend data and basic reporting
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to follow established procurement processes and procedures accurately and consistently
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while staying responsive to team and vendor communications
  • Preferred: experience mentoring or training junior staff
  • Preferred: experience coordinating with vendors on logistics/delivery scheduling
  • Preferred: background in cannabis or another regulated, multi-state industry

What we offer:

  • Compensation: $70,000-80,000 annually depending on experience
  • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance on the first of the month after you begin employment
  • Competitive additional benefits including HSA, FSA, Dependable Care, EAP services, etc.
  • 11 Days of accrued PTO in addition to 2 Wellness Days & Volunteer Hours that will increase with tenure
  • 401k program with an employer match after six months of employment
