Lyra is a collective of brands in the Personal Care and Family categories, dedicated to caring for our customers and their loved ones. Our trusted brands are designed with comfort, quality, and transparency first, because we believe everyone should experience care done right.

NOTE: This role is based in NYC. Lyra Collective operates a flexible, hybrid office policy in which employees are expected to be in-person on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

We’re looking for a Procurement & Project Management Specialist to lead sourcing and procurement for our personal care brands, with a focus on cosmetic product testing and formulation. You will manage end-to-end supplier relationships, from cost negotiation and compliance to new product development. This role allows for exposure across Lyra Collective’s portfolio, with a focus on brands such as Nuvadermis, EVER Skincare, LOLA, and more. You'll report to the VP of Consumer Product Development & Sourcing and work cross-functionally with brand management, creative, supply chain and inventory teams, as well as directly with external manufacturing partners.

What you'll do

    Supplier Relationships & Negotiation

  • Build and manage relationships with domestic and international contract manufacturers and packaging suppliers
  • Lead cost negotiations and drive margin-enhancing initiatives across key SKUs
  • Ensure supplier compliance with regulatory requirements, including FDA standards
  • Oversee testing and product validation in partnership with suppliers and external labs
  • Supply Chain Coordination

  • Translate inventory requirements into purchase orders and ensure supplier timelines support broader supply chain planning
  • Keep production schedules on track and lead problem-solving when risks arise
  • New Product Development

  • Partner with brand management and creative to translate product vision into supplier specifications
  • Project-manage new product development to ensure packaging, formula, and clinical targets are met on time
  • Coordinate ingredient testing and regulatory compliance alongside our product engineering function

Requirements

  • 4+ years of sourcing or product and project management experience in personal care or beauty
  • A track record of managing supplier contracts, dual-sourcing initiatives, and production timelines
  • Demonstrated impact on financial performance through cost negotiations or margin improvement
  • Strong project management instincts — you can hold multiple priorities and stakeholders without dropping anything
  • Experience navigating regulatory or compliance requirements (ingredient standards, labeling compliance, or similar)
  • Mandarin language skills are a plus, but not a must-have

Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion

We believe that true innovation happens when everyone has a seat at the table and the opportunity to excel. We're committed to growing and empowering a more inclusive community within our company and in ecommerce overall, and we’re devoted to hiring and cultivating diverse teams of the best and brightest from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives.
