About this Role

Fandom is growing! We’re hiring a Product Analyst to join our remote team in the US. Reporting to our Director of Product Analytics, you’ll join a passionate group of data storytellers helping drive product innovation across Fandom.

You Will...
  • Work with stakeholders to investigate the 'why'...and encourage best practices in experimental design and testing.
  • Partner with key stakeholders on our Product teams to manage an analytics backlog and prioritize your workload based on ROI to team OKRs
  • Develop user archetypes based on content consumption, product feature usage, device type, and based on user preferences, device type, behavior patterns, and anonymized demographic insights
  • Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to ensure data quality and Create KPIs and dashboards to monitor product performance, including new product launches, to mitigate risks, measure success, and recommend optimizations
  • Analyze A/B and multivariate tests and serve as an advocate for proper experimental design and testing
  • Storytell interesting trends across our user base and traffic patterns to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Confidently explain and translate your code into actionable recommendations.
  • Maintain relationships with our Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Product Marketing, and other teams that you'll interact with regularly
You Are...
  • 1-3 years of analytics experience
  • Demonstrable experience in influencing a product roadmap
  • A passion to share your knowledge.  We're a wiki platform at our core.
  • Proficiency in SQL essential.  We use s3/Athena
  • Experience with dashboarding tools is important. We use Tableau.  
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and statistical significance techniques such as t-test, ANOVA, correlation, etc.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills - ability to clearly articulate and present insights to creative and technical teams alike
Bonus Points...
  • Knowledge of Python or R
  • Experience in statistical modeling or machine learning
  • Experience in working in scrum teams in an agile environment is a plus. You'll work with 3-5 product managers and are expected to attend standups, retros, and sprint launches.
