The Open Banking product team is leading the industry in enabling customers to easily and securely share their data across financial institutions and FinTechs, holistically manage their finances, and seamlessly control these permissions through Chase's Security Center
As an Executive Director, Head of Product Operations within the Open Banking team, you will lead a team of dedicated professionals focused on driving strategic direction and operational alignment across our Open Banking organization. As a leader on the team, you will challenge traditional approaches, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation that helps inspire cross-functional teams to create groundbreaking solutions that address customer needs.
Job Responsibilities
  • Establish, track, and refine OKRs, KPIs, and other key business metrics; set targets and monitor progress against strategic goals (Performance Management)
  • Lead ongoing, quarterly, and annual roadmap planning across the Open Banking portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives. (Product Planning)
  • Ensure that the Open Banking product operates in a secure Controls environment (Product Controls)
  • Leverage business intelligence and analytics to inform senior leadership, guide key business decisions, and identify new opportunities. (Data-Driven Decision Making)
  • Leads product intake and supports product managers to ensure commitment for critical dependencies (Dependency and Program Management)
  • Craft compelling executive communications and build and maintain strong relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders; foster collaboration and partnership to advance organizational strategy. (Rhythm of the Business and Partner Engagement)
  • Partner with tech and mission control to quickly resolve and root cause client issues and production incidents (Customer-focus)
  • Champion best practices and a culture of continuous improvement across the organization, including the use of AI for product delivery (Continuous Improvement)

Required Qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 10 + years of experience in strategy, business operations, or management consulting - within financial services, payments, or technology
  • Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics
  • Experience in defining and building out product roadmaps
  • Expertise in business strategy, strategic frameworks, and both qualitative and quantitative analysis
  • Structured and strategic thinker, effective communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • High attention to detail; ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated track record of driving change and transformation in a complex organization
  • Commitment and self-motivation suitable to a start-up team
  • Strong culture carrier
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and JIRA

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Recognized thought leader within Open Banking
  • Demonstrable experience working on a regulated product or feature set
