The Product Engineer will build impactful products, own technology architecture, mentor teams, and advocate for user needs in a health tech startup environment.
About the Role
What You’ll Do
Qualifications
Marble Must Have Traits
We’re looking for a product engineer to help advance our mission of solving the youth mental health crisis. Specifically we're looking to scale the life-changing care we're providing to thousands of families today to tens of thousands of families in the next few years, and we need help getting there. This is a high-impact, high-ownership role for someone who wants to go deep across the stack and own products end to end — whether that’s product for schools, experiences for patients, an EHR for therapists, or internal tools that glue everything together.
You’ll be a technical leader with strong product instincts, helping us build intuitive, elegant, and scalable software for the people who need it most. You'll collaborate closely with product, operations, growth and clinical teams, and have the opportunity to own key parts of our product end-to-end.
Ship highly impactful products that delight our users
- Be a core contributor to at least one of Marble’s product surfaces:
- A platform for school workers who are underserved and overburdened
- Interfaces for students and families navigating care
- Workflows for therapists providing that care
- Voice your beliefs on what we should build, not just how we build.
Own and evolve underlying technology & platform architecture
- Help shape the systems that underpin our product — from frontend performance and design systems to devX to backend infrastructure like event-driven workflows.
Up-level engineering standards and provide mentorship
- Be a voice on the team. Level up those around you, set the standard for clean, maintainable code and champion best practices. Generally grow a strong, thoughtful engineering culture.
Be a product partner and user advocate
- Work closely with our growth, ops and clinical teams to deeply understand user needs and translate them into great experiences. Develop a strong sense of empathy for our diverse stakeholders.
