Role Overview

We are seeking a technically skilled and client-focused Product Implementation Engineer to join our Client Services & Development team. This role is pivotal in delivering FlexTrade’s trading solutions to clients, from onboarding through go-live and beyond. You will be responsible for the full technical implementation lifecycle of our products, ensuring seamless integration into client environments and delivering exceptional service throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end implementation of FlexTrade products for new and existing clients.

  • Set up virtual machines, configure environments, and install software components.

  • Collaborate with clients to understand workflow requirements and configure solutions accordingly.

  • Integrate FlexTrade products into client ecosystems, including APIs and data feeds.

  • Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and validation of implementations.

  • Provide client training, demonstrations, and go-live support.

  • Maintain documentation in Confluence and track project progress using JIRA.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Development, QA, Sales) to ensure successful delivery.

  • Support ongoing enhancements and upgrades post-implementation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in software implementation, technical consulting, or systems integration.

  • Strong Linux/Unix command line skills (bash, csh), shell scripting, and Python.

  • Ability to read and understand code in C/C++/Java.

  • Experience with Git, JIRA, and Confluence.

  • Excellent communication and client management skills.

  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and project management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with trading systems (EMS/OMS) or financial software.

  • Familiarity with FIX protocol and trading workflows across asset classes (equities, FX, fixed income, derivatives).

  • Knowledge of SQL, networking principles, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure).

  • Prior experience in a client-facing fintech or trading technology role.
