The Role
Blue Owl is seeking a Senior Associate or Vice President to join the Institutional Capital team, supporting the Credit platform. This role will focus on investor relations activities across Credit strategies, including investor communications, reporting, and client support, while owning and driving key workstreams in partnership with Product Specialists, Investment teams, and Client Coverage to deliver high-quality investor experience.
Responsibilities
Support fundraising efforts in partnership with Client Coverage, including pipeline tracking, investor prioritization, and tailoring messaging and materials for targeted investor outreach
Translate investor feedback and market insights into clear product positioning and messaging, ensuring consistency across materials and alignment with market demand
Support and lead investor communications and engagement, including quarterly investor letters, LPAC materials, annual meeting materials, webinars, investor meetings, and other client-facing updates, with increasing ownership over time
Own execution of investor-facing deliverables, including inquiries, diligence responses, and recurring materials, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and high-quality output
Lead cross-functional coordination across investment teams, Client Coverage, and internal groups (legal, tax, operations, finance, and accounting) to source, validate, and synthesize information, with accountability for end-to-end delivery
Support key fund lifecycle processes, including onboarding, closings, ongoing fund activity, and investor-related workflows
Assist in managing LPAC processes, including preparation of materials, coordination of approvals, and follow-up communications
Develop and maintain investor-facing materials such as presentations, FAQs, and due diligence content in coordination with Product Specialists and investment teams
Qualifications
4–8 years of relevant experience within an asset manager, alternative investment firm, investment bank, placement agent, or related financial institution
Experience in investor relations, product management, fundraising, or client service within private markets or credit preferred
Familiarity with credit strategies, including understanding of fund structures, portfolio dynamics, and investor reporting
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex investment information into clear, investor-ready materials
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, organization, and quality of output
High degree of ownership and accountability, with proven ability to manage multiple priorities and drive deliverables in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively across investment, product, and client teams
Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to drive operational efficiency and process optimization through effective use of AI-enabled tools
The base annual salary range for this New York-based position will be $120,000 to $140,000. Actual salary offered will be based on the candidate’s skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
