Company Overview

Teachstone is transforming how educators improve their practice through technology, research, and data-driven insights.

Our CLASS® framework has helped thousands of organizations understand and improve teacher–child interactions. As we evolve into a digital-first platform, we are building AI-enabled tools that help educators understand what is happening in classrooms and receive personalized guidance on how to improve.

We believe AI should augment human insight, not replace it, and are committed to responsible, research-backed innovation in education.

Role Overview

Teachstone is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the development of AI-powered capabilities that help educators understand and improve classroom interactions at scale.

This role sits at the intersection of AI, learning science, and human-centered design. You will work on translating complex behavioral signals into clear, actionable insights that support real changes in educator practice.

You will operate in an environment where the problem is clear but the solution is not. Success requires strong product judgment, continuous discovery, and the ability to navigate tradeoffs between innovation, trust, and real-world impact.

You will partner closely with engineering, design, and impact teams to build systems that are not only technically sophisticated, but also usable, explainable, and grounded in evidence.

This is a rare opportunity to shape how AI can responsibly support human development in high-stakes environments.

Role ResponsibilitiesAI Product Strategy
  • Define and execute the product strategy for AI-powered insights that improve classroom interactions.
  • Lead the development and evolution of AI-powered insight capabilities.
  • Identify where AI can generate meaningful, responsible supports for educators.
  • Integrate AI-driven insights into Teachstone’s broader platform experience.
  • Balance rapid experimentation with delivering reliable, research-aligned capabilities.
  • Partner with go-to-market teams to ensure capabilities are effectively introduced and deliver measurable value.
  • Define rollout strategy, packaging, and alignment with existing offerings.
AI System Development
  • Partner with engineering to deliver AI-enabled systems that interpret classroom interaction signals.
  • Collaborate with research and engineering leadership to ensure models are accurate, explainable, and grounded in research.
  • Define requirements for insight generation, feedback loops, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure systems evolve through real-world usage and educator feedback.
  • Design workflows that ensure insights are accurate, trustworthy, and actionable.
  • Make pragmatic tradeoffs based on system constraints, timelines, and available resources.
Insight Design and Data Visualization
  • Lead the development of experiences that turn complex interaction data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Design visualizations that help educators and administrators understand classroom dynamics.
  • Ensure outputs are intuitive and usable for non-technical users.
  • Partner with design and research to simplify complex signals into meaningful supports.
Responsible AI and Privacy
  • Ensure AI capabilities involving classroom data meet high standards for privacy, security, and ethical use.
  • Define appropriate safeguards for data capture, storage, and analysis in partnership with legal, engineering, and research.
  • Ensure insights are transparent and understandable to educators.
  • Champion responsible AI practices in educational environments.
Customer Discovery and Learning Science Alignment
  • Conduct discovery with teachers, coaches, and administrators to understand how insights influence practice.
  • Partner with research teams to align product decisions with evidence on educator development.
  • Translate learning science and behavioral insights into product direction.
  • Synthesize input across stakeholders to define clear, actionable priorities.
Product Impact Measurement
  • Define success metrics for AI insight products.
  • Measure impact through engagement, insight usefulness, and educator outcomes.
  • Use analytics and feedback to continuously refine accuracy, clarity, and value.
Go-To-Market and Product Adoption
  • Partner with sales, customer success, and marketing to bring new capabilities to market effectively.
  • Ensure new functionality is understood, adopted, and delivering value in real-world use.
  • Incorporate feedback from early releases to refine positioning and usability.
  • Balance innovation with the needs of existing customers and workflows.
Role Qualifications
  • 5+ years of product management experience, ideally building data-driven or AI-enabled products.
  • Experience launching products that rely on AI, machine learning, or complex datasets.
  • Experience translating complex data into clear, user-facing insights.
  • Familiarity with AI governance, privacy, and ethical considerations, especially with sensitive data such as video.
  • Experience collaborating with engineering teams building AI-enabled systems.
  • Experience operating in resource-constrained or ambiguous environments, requiring influence and alignment across stakeholders.
  • Experience bringing new capabilities to market and supporting adoption post-launch.
  • Demonstrated ability to align product strategy with company strategy and leadership priorities.
  • Comfort working in evolving environments where systems and processes are not fully defined.
  • Experience working with research, analytics, or model development teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Passion for improving educator and child outcomes.
