Own the roadmap for Samba’s data products and identity graph. Define advertiser, publisher, and platform use cases; translate customer needs into scalable products; shape packaging, pricing, delivery channels, and success metrics; and partner with engineering, data science, sales, legal, and client success. Lead identity resolution, onboarding, matching, activation, privacy compliance, and cross-platform identifier strategy while adapting to changes in the advertising identity ecosystem.
The summary above was generated by AI
Samba connects the advertising industry. Today, a trillion dollars of media flows through platforms that don’t talk to each other, and each one measures its own results. We built the independent alternative: consented first-party data and AI that give the world’s biggest advertisers, publishers, and platforms one clear view across all of it.

The next era of advertising will run on AI agents, and those agents will need data they can trust. We’re building that foundation, and the agents that act on it. Join us and help build what the industry runs on.

About the Role
Samba’s data is only as valuable as the products built on top of it. As Product Manager, Data Products & Identity, you’ll spend most of your time turning Samba’s unique view of consumer attention into data products that solve real problems for two customer groups: brands /agencies, and publishers/platforms.

You’ll also own the Samba identity graph. Identity is the foundation that makes our Audiences, Measurement, and Data Products work, so you’ll set the roadmap for how identity is resolved, managed, matched, and activated, and make sure it keeps pace with what those products need. Working closely with engineering, data science, sales, and client success, you’ll prioritize the capabilities that create new revenue and strengthen the graph behind it.

What You'll Do

Data Products
  • Own the product roadmap for Samba’s data products, from discovery through launch and ongoing growth
  • Define use cases and requirements for brands and advertisers, such as audience insights, planning, activation
  • Define use cases and requirements for publishers and platforms, such as content and viewership insights, audience monetization
  • Partner with sales, client success, and customers to validate demand, shape packaging and pricing, and turn client needs into scalable, repeatable products
  • Decide how data products are delivered across channels, including APIs/MCPs, platform integrations, clean rooms, and file-based delivery, working with engineering and sales
  • Define success metrics for each product, including adoption, revenue, and client outcomes, and use them to prioritize and iterate
  • Translate complex data concepts into clear product specifications and client-facing value propositions

Secondary focus: Samba Identity Graph (~30%)
  • Own the product roadmap for the Samba identity graph, including identity resolution, graph management, and cross-platform identifier strategy
  • Ensure the graph supports Samba’s Audiences, Measurement, and Data Products, and partner with those product teams to align on requirements, coverage, and quality
  • Define requirements for identity onboarding, matching, and activation workflows based on client needs, privacy standards, and technical constraints
  • Stay ahead of industry shifts in identity, from the deprecation of third-party cookies to emerging standards like Unified ID 2.0, RampID, etc.

What You Bring
  • 3+ years of product management experience in ad tech, data platforms, or data products, with a track record of shipping products for brands, advertisers, publishers, or platforms
  • Strong understanding of how advertisers and publishers use data across audience targeting, activation, and measurement, and the ability to turn that understanding into product requirements
  • Working knowledge of identity resolution, data onboarding, and privacy-compliant matching techniques; experience with identity providers, data clean rooms, or audience platforms is a plus
  • Comfort with data-intensive products: you can work with data science and engineering on data models, pipelines, and delivery, and you use data to make decisions
  • Track record of executing, not just strategizing, in fast-moving, data-intensive environments
  • Ability to influence without authority across technical, legal, and commercial stakeholders
  • Hustler mentality: you get things done and know how to navigate the ambiguity of a shifting data and identity ecosystem
