Mission: We’re on a mission to make Raycon the most loved electronics brand in the world where every product feels joyful, effortless, and personal. We believe tech should empower, not frustrate.
We're hiring a Product Manager to own hardware products end-to-end from concept through mass production, including the daily vendor execution that makes them ship on time. You'll own specs, schedules, and the calls when cost, performance, and timeline collide. This role is title-flexible. Strong candidates may come from Product Management, Technical Program Management, Engineering Program Management, or hardware engineering with program ownership experience. We care about what you've shipped, not what your title was.

Growth: Profitable growth with 5M+ customers and international expansion
Location: Midtown Manhattan, NYC.
Mon - Fri, 9 AM - 6 PM EST.
Hybrid: 1 day remote (Monday) and 4 days in office (Tuesday - Friday)
Compensation: Competitive base + performance bonus
Team: This role reports to the VP of Product and partners closely with design, operations, product marketing, and leadership. You will be pivotal to drive development across a number of key products.
Why Now:Raycon is at a critical inflection point as we scale from a high growth startup into a globally recognized brand. Our product portfolio is expanding, customer expectations are rising, and the complexity of execution is increasing. We need a Product Manager who can bring structure, clarity, and momentum to how we build and launch products at scale.

You'd be a fit if:

  • 3+ years owning consumer hardware products or programs end-to-end
  • Direct experience working with contract manufacturers, ideally in China or Asia
  • Engineering degree preferred but not required
  • Track record of holding schedules - dates don't slip without you knowing first
  • Comfortable making tradeoffs with incomplete data and defending the call later
  • You get sh*t done when things are messy, ambiguous, or broken
  • Clear written communication - your specs and vendor emails leave no ambiguity

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own hardware products through EVT, DVT, PVT, and mass production
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with our overseas manufacturers and engineering partners
  • Drive design and component decisions when tradeoffs need to be called
  • Translate customer needs into specs, PRDs, and success metrics
  • Lead cross-functional execution across engineering, ID, firmware, ops, marketing, and CX
  • Partner with product marketing on positioning, pricing inputs, and launch readiness
  • Monitor post-launch performance and feed learnings into the next cycle
Sample projects may include the below.

A Day in the Life:

  • Managing vendors to remain on track, on budget, and keeping product quality strong
  • Aligning a DSP build with firmware and locking the freeze date with our ODM
  • Driving a cost-down review with the factory on a wearable in DVT
  • Working with marketing on launch sequencing for a Q4 retail drop

Company Values:

  • Customer First
  • Think Big
  • Raise the Bar Every Day
  • GSD: Get Sh*t Done

Perks and Benefits:

  • 50% team discount on Raycon products
  • $1,500 annual L&D stipend + $200 for cultural events
  • Monthly team lunch, snack budget, March Madness bracket

Why work at Raycon:

  • Impact: Your products directly shape customer experience and brand trust
  • Autonomy: Own high impact decisions and product outcomes
  • Team: Grounded, ambitious, and kind coworkers who get sh*t done

Interview Process:
1. Initial Call: Intro with a team member focused on culture fit and your experience (30 minutes)
2. Case Study: A practical exercise tailored to the role, designed to highlight how you think and create
3. Final On-site Round: Visit us in the office, meet the team, and learn more about our cross-functional team leaders
