About Faire

Faire is a technology wholesale platform built on the belief that the future is local. Independent retailers around the globe collectively represent a multi-hundred-billion-dollar wholesale market that has historically been fragmented and offline. At Faire, we're using the power of tech, data, and machine learning to connect this thriving community of entrepreneurs across the globe. Picture your favorite boutique in town — we help them discover the best products from around the world to sell in their stores. With the right tools and insights, we believe that we can level the playing field so businesses can grow and local communities can thrive.

We’re looking for smart, resourceful and passionate people to join us as we power the shop local movement. If you believe in community, come join ours.

About the Role

We're looking for Product Managers to sit at the nexus of design, engineering, data science, strategy and go-to-market, partnering closely across those functions and with founders and senior leadership to shape decisions that move Faire forward.

You’ll own a significant area of the roadmap, deeply understand the customers you build for, and execute with an eye toward impact.

We hire role agnostic, first assessing your fit for Faire through the interview process and then matching you to the role, team and problem space where you’ll have the greatest impact, based on your experience, skills and interest.

You’ll be aligned to one of these pillars:

Retailer Growth focuses on making Faire’s retailers more successful by acquiring, activating, and retaining more retailers, ultimately driving demand and deeper engagement with the marketplace.

Brand drives Faire’s supply side — acquiring new brands, building tooling to help them run their businesses, partnering with them to maximize their growth and success on Faire, and ensuring quality of the marketplace.

Discovery focuses on the core shopping experience — helping retailers find the right products and brands through search, recommendations, ads, and exploration while balancing marketplace dynamics.

Value makes Faire the best place for independent retailers to buy , building programs that take cost and friction out of sourcing inventory: membership discounts, flexible financing, a fulfillment network enabling lower minimums and faster and cheaper shipping, and simpler inventory workflows behind every order.

Ads helps brands succeed on Faire by putting them in control of their growth through paid placement. The team builds effective advertising products that accelerate brands’ wholesale growth while connecting retailers with relevant products.

What you’ll do

  • Own strategy and roadmap for your product area. Set the multi-year direction for how current and future products evolve and build the prioritized roadmap to get there.
  • Own specific goals and outcomes. You will be responsible for specific product outcomes and goals all designed to drive meaningful growth for the marketplace.
  • Own the unit economics for your product. Know the levers that drive your product's growth and margin.
  • Partner deeply across Design, Data Science, Strategy & Analytics, Go-To-Market, Operations and Engineering. Earn trust across functions, lead without authority, and keep complex, multi-stakeholder work moving without losing momentum.
  • Communicate clearly at every altitude. Translate complex, technical topics for a wide range of audiences, from engineering partners to senior leadership.

What we’re looking for, across levels:

  • 4+ years of product management experience (years of experience requirements scale with level, see below), with demonstrated ability to own complex, cross-functional products end to end.
  • Strategic clarity with hands-on execution. You can zoom out and develop a defensible multi-year point of view, then zoom back in to write crisp requirements, drive execution, and unblock your team.
  • High learning velocity and analytical rigor. You define the metrics that matter, size the opportunity before you commit to it, and use data to drive decisions.
  • Customer empathy and strong design sense. You deeply understand how retailers and brands run their businesses and what makes them trust a platform like ours. You are skilled at designing thoughtful and delightful experiences that solve customer needs.
  • Structured problem solving. You break ambiguous problems into clear hypotheses, don't mistake activity for progress, and diagnose root causes rather than escalate.
  • Cross-functional influence across Design, Engineering, Data Science, Strategy & Analytics, and Go to Market, and a track record of aligning diverse stakeholders while maintaining momentum.
  • Proven ability to influence at the executive level and to communicate complex topics with clarity and conviction across audiences.
  • AI fluency. You use AI tools to accelerate problem solving, solution definition, and analysis; you are comfortable getting hands on building prototypes and using AI to accelerate decision-making.
  • Marketplace experience is a strong plus — particularly familiarity with two-sided dynamics and competing customer objectives.
