About The Role:

As an early member of Cantina's product team, you'll have ownership over a large, growing surface area that's at the very beginning of its growth trajectory. You'll be able to establish processes and coordinate with a global team of engineers and designers. Your role will partner day-to-day with engineering, design, marketing, leadership, and analytics teams. You'll be able to define the success of Cantina's web product, manage a roadmap, and contribute to a burgeoning product culture.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead day-to-day prioritization, roadmap, and execution for Cantina’s web product

  • Partner with the Cantina executive team to build a best in class, AI first video editing experience on the web

  • Run sprint planning, backlog grooming, and Jira prioritization for an eight person, internationally based web team

  • Work closely with engineering, design, and data to iterate on the web experience and grow its user base

  • Talk to creators and users directly to gather feedback and insights for iterative product improvements

  • Define and iterate on video creation and editing workflows, including trimming, effects, filters, publishing, and sharing.

  • Stay in close collaboration with Client teams to maintain a feature complete web product

  • Ensure the web video product is intuitive, performant, and meets the expectations of a skilled creator base

What You'll Bring:

  • 3-5+ years in product management, ideally with 1+ years of experience video creation tools, video editing, or video platform products. Bonus for web based video editors

  • Experience using Jira, running sprint planning, and managing a roadmap for 9+ engineers

  • Strong understanding of consumer video products and workflows (CapCut, Instagram Reels, iMovie, TikTok, or similar)

  • Ability to make complex concepts accessible with clear communication

  • Strong collaborator who can work across engineering, design, data, and leadership teams

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation:

The anticipated annual base salary range for this role is between $150,000-$180,000. When determining compensation, a number of factors will be considered, including skills, experience, job scope, location, and competitive compensation market data.
