At Pangram, we firmly believe that genuine human expression, and our ability to communicate with each other online and through the written word, is a fundamental right- and a value worth preserving.
Please don't use AI to answer any of the questions as part of your application - we want to hear from you!

About Pangram Labs

Pangram Labs’ mission is to protect authenticity and preserve human connection in the context of the generative AI era. We build the world’s best AI detection systems. We publish research on state-of-the-art AI detection techniques and algorithms and build products to bring our technology into people's daily lives. We provide tools for individuals, institutions and companies to detect the use of AI in written content.

Pangram is a recognized thought leader in the space of AI detection. Our CEO & Co-founder Max Spero has been named as one of Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in AI and Pangram has been named one of Time’s Best Inventions of 2026.

We are looking for high agency, mission-driven, and passionate builders to join our team!

About the Role

As a Product Manager at Pangram Labs, you will translate our research and our AI models into compelling products that make it easy for people to interact with in their work and in their lives across many different product surfaces. You will work across a wide variety of surfaces: web, Chrome extension, integrations, an API, and more to come. You will work directly with the founders and engineers, talk to our customers regularly, and make calls about how to allocate our limited engineering resources. We are looking for someone that has made hard decisions and can clearly reason about tradeoffs.

This is a full-time, on-site role in our Brooklyn office reporting to our CTO.

What You'll Do

  • Set product direction across Pangram’s surfaces: decide what new features to build, what to cut, and in what order

  • Scope and prioritize engineering work, and strategize on how to translate your product vision into clearly defined design and engineering specs

  • Run launches end-to-end, including planning, cross-functional coordination, GTM handoff, and post-launch action items

  • Own customer feedback and request triage

  • Talk to users constantly and use that feedback to inform product decisions

  • Lead the product sync and coordinate engineering, growth, and leadership

Qualifications

You are a great fit for this role if you have:

  • 5 years in product management with at least one product you’ve owned outright

  • Consumer or prosumer experience. B2B experience is welcome but not sufficient on its own.

  • Technical fluency - you need to be fluent with how AI and technical teams work, but you don’t need to have been an engineer or have experience writing code

  • Proficiency with AI automation and design tools

  • Comfort and experience talking with customers

Nice to have

You are an exceptional candidate for this role if you also have:

  • Experience in early stage startups as an early or founding PM

  • Experience with developer platforms, browser extensions, or education/edtech
