Greystone IT is seeking an experienced Project Manager (PM). This role is ideal for a hands-on PM who is equally comfortable working with business users, IT teams, and developers to drive technology initiatives in the multifamily loan servicing space. The successful candidate will bring expertise in Agile project methodologies and possess a strong understanding of financial services workflows. This is a high-impact role focused on project delivery, business process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of technology projects supporting all of Greystone’s businesses.
  • Serve as a bridge between business users and IT developers, capturing detailed requirements and translating them into standardized product or project requirements documents, which translate to actionable technical deliverables documented as user stories.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to document business processes, identify gaps, and propose technology-based solutions.
  • Facilitate and manage the project teams’ progress via project meetings, Kanban or Scrum boards, and Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).
  • As needed, present project updates and product demonstrations to customers, peers, and executives.
  • Facilitate the development and maintenance of level of effort estimates, status updates, milestones and schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure successful project execution and timely, on-budget delivery.
  • Track project progress using Agile project tools (e.g., Jira,), ensuring deliverables are on time and meet quality expectations.
  • Adhere to and champion project management standards, policies, and procedures established by the PMO to ensure strategic alignment, reporting consistency across all projects.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including charters, roadmaps, requirements, test plans, and user acceptance criteria.
  • Support system enhancements and process improvement initiatives within the Greystone business.
  • Maintain strong communication and stakeholder alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Experience, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in financial services or real estate technology.
  • Proven experience with Agile SCRUM, Kanban and Sprint-based delivery methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather, document, and translate business requirements for development teams.
  • Strong understanding of multifamily origination,  loan servicing, asset management, or related financial domains is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with loan origination, servicing systems or enterprise applications (e.g., CRM, ERP); experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Experience managing software development lifecycles and collaborating with cross-functional technical teams.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with a proven ability to work interactively across departments.
  • Familiarity with system integrations, UAT, change management, and business process mapping.
  • Proficiency in tools such as SQL, Excel, Visio, Jira, or similar project and collaboration platforms.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse teams and executives.
  • Experience driving organizational change and managing resistance to change, with a proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or Scrum Master certification a plus.

Greystone offers a competitive base salary and bonus. The base salary range for this position is $130,000 to $160,000/year. The specific compensation that will be offered is based on an understanding of the hired candidates' qualifications at the time of hire. Employees are eligible for a discretionary bonus based on employee work performance reviewed during the annual review process.
