Mission:

We’re hiring a Product Manager to own the product experience from customer pain point to launch, leading the definition of the addressable problem, feature set, roadmap, budget, and timeline. Location:
Midtown Manhattan, NYC.
Mon - Fri, 9 AM - 6 PM EST.
Hybrid: 1 day remote (Monday) and 4 days in office (Tuesday - Friday)

Compensation:
Competitive base salary plus discretionary bonus and equity options

Team:
This role reports to the VP of Product and partners closely with design, operations, product marketing, and leadership. You will be pivotal in driving development across a number of key products.

You’d Be a Fit If:

  • You have 3 to 5 plus years of experience owning consumer hardware products end to end

  • You are comfortable making tradeoffs across customer needs, technical constraints, cost, and timelines

  • You thrive in fast paced, bottoms up environments and take ownership without waiting for permission

  • You are deeply customer first and use data and research to guide decisions

  • You get sh*t done even when things are messy, ambiguous, or broken

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own product strategy and roadmap across assigned categories from concept through launch and iteration

  • Translate customer insights and business goals into clear product requirements and success metrics

  • Partner closely with hardware engineering, industrial design, and operations to deliver high quality products on time

  • Lead prioritization decisions, tradeoffs, and risk management throughout development cycles

  • Collaborate with product marketing on positioning, pricing inputs, and launch readiness

  • Monitor post launch performance and drive continuous improvement based on customer feedback and data

A Day in the Life:
Sample projects may include:

  • Defining requirements for a new audio product based on customer research and market gaps

  • Leading cross functional reviews to unblock engineering or supply chain risks

  • Working closely with vendors and overseas partners to ensure product launch timelines are met

  • Partnering with marketing on feature prioritization and launch timing

  • Reviewing customer feedback and return data to inform product improvements

  • Products launch on time and meet defined cost, margin, and quality targets

  • Customer satisfaction, reviews, and retention improve post launch

  • The product roadmap aligns tightly with Raycon’s growth and brand strategy

    Raycon is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Salary ranges are determined through alignment with market data. Base salary offered is determined by a number of factors including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and skills. This role is also eligible for bonus compensation and employee benefits.

    NYC Base Salary Range: $70,000 - $120,000 USD
