The Role, Product Manager

GoCanvas, part of the Nemetschek Group, helps businesses better connect their office and field teams by modernizing the way work gets done. Its intuitive platforms replace paper-based processes with digital solutions that simplify inspections, enhance safety, and support compliance with industry regulations. As a global leader in customizable mobile forms and applications, GoCanvas enables organizations to operate more efficiently and effectively.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Product Manager to help drive meaningful business outcomes and enable our customers to succeed through the use of our GoCanvas product. As a product-forward company, we focus deeply on customer needs and believe strong product execution is critical to delivering value to the market.

As a Product Manager, you will contribute to the development of new products and features designed to help small businesses collect data more efficiently and do more with that data to modernize and automate their operations. You will work within an established product strategy and roadmap, partnering closely with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to deliver high-quality solutions that improve the GoCanvas platform and customer experience.

This role is ideal for someone who is building their product career, enjoys hands-on execution, and wants exposure to the full product lifecycle — from discovery through delivery and iteration.

Your Most Important Initiatives:

  • Own the delivery and execution of product initiatives within a defined product area or roadmap.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand user needs, workflows, and pain points; translate insights into clear product requirements and prioritized backlogs.
  • Collaborate with UX, engineering, marketing, sales, and other product managers throughout the product lifecycle — from concept through launch and post-release iteration.
  • Write clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to enable efficient development and high-quality delivery.
  • Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release coordination with engineering teams.
  • Measure product performance using defined success metrics; analyze usage data, customer feedback, and qualitative insights to inform continuous improvement.
  • Monitor competitive offerings and industry trends to help inform roadmap planning and feature enhancements.

What You Bring:

  • Experience contributing to the delivery of successful software products, ideally in a SaaS environment.
  • Working knowledge of Agile product development practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to translate complex problems into structured solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with multiple priorities.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience; technical background is a plus.
  • 1+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, consulting, or a related role.

What GoCanvas Brings:

We believe hiring the right people is THE most important thing we do. We take our values seriously and look for these traits in everyone we hire: Empathy, Customer-Obsessed, Authenticity, Impactful, Team Player and Cheeky/Fun Loving. We believe in giving people the freedom to work, but staying inspired by their important metrics, to think and act like owners of our business. We provide a remote-first environment that allows for innovation and creativity and a chance for individuals passionate about their role to have fun at work!

While we believe culture trumps perks, we are also proud to provide a comprehensive benefits package designed to meet our team members’ needs and truly invest in you with:

  • 13 Company-Paid Holidays
  • Medical Insurance (where the Employee Only level of coverage is free!)
  • Dental and Vision Insurance with employer contribution
  • Health Savings or Flexible Spending Account depending upon your medical plan selection
  • Basic Term Life Insurance and Personal Accident Insurance
  • Voluntary Life Insurance
  • Short and Long-Term Disability
  • 401k plan with employer match
  • Pet Insurance
  • Generous Parental Leave

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status. We are committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills. The more inclusive we are, the better our work will be.

If you need special assistance or accommodation while seeking employment with us, please email [email protected] or call: (703) 547-8588. We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we are not able to sponsor visas.

We take into account an individual’s qualifications, skillset, and experience in determining final salary. This role is eligible for health insurance (medical, dental & vision), life insurance, 401(k) & paid time off. The expected compensation range for this position is about $70k-85k USD annually. The actual offer will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by relevant business considerations, including the final candidate’s qualifications, years of experience, skillset, and geographic location.

This role is a #LI-Remote opportunity.
