We are looking for an experienced, high-impact Product Marketing Director to own the strategy and execution of all major events, product launches, and release marketing for our core Platform portfolios, specifically Low-Code Development and Trusted Services (Security). This leader will be the primary link between our Platform product innovation and the market, developing compelling, differentiated narratives that excite our core IT customers and inform fresh, innovative strategies at first and third party events.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Event Strategy & Ownership: Own the end-to-end event lifecycle, defining the strategic objectives, ROI targets, and content narratives for all major company and third-party events; drive execution plans for everything from event content, to onsite experience, to lead capture.

  • Product Launches & Release Marketing: Lead the end-to-end product launch and release marketing strategy including developing differentiated messaging and positioning that clearly articulates the value proposition to IT decision-makers, and driving cross-functional alignment to ensure maximum market impact.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely across the product marketing org and with cross-functional teams including PR, field marketing, creative, strategic events, product management, and sales to ensure alignment and execution of marketing initiatives.

  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, informing product launch strategies and tactics.

  • Performance Tracking: Know your numbers and track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, optimizing performance over time.

Experience and Required Skills:

  • Proven leadership experience in product marketing or event marketing, preferably in the technology industry and developer tools, app dev, security or AI space

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and executing event strategies and/or product launch strategies for complex product portfolios

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively

  • Ability to create effective presentations and lead others in presentation creation; keen marketing eye and experience guiding a creative process 

  • Stellar communicator as demonstrated by writing, public speaking, storytelling skills

  • Passion for software-as-a-service, technology, and disruptive thinking

  • Proven track record of successfully driving projects with minimal guidance

  • Ability to work well cross-functionally and lead through influence 

  • Proven creative thinker who can generate and execute innovative "breakout" marketing ideas

  • Proven track record of performing well in a fast-paced environment and possessing the organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects

  • 8+ years of experience in product marketing, brand marketing, event marketing, and/or related field

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $193,800 to $281,100.For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $177,600 to $257,600.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $193,800 to $281,100.
