YOUR MISSION

The Product Marketing Director- Watches defines and drives the international go-to-market strategy for the Watches category at Tiffany & Co. This role champions the global vision for launches, product positioning, and omnichannel activation, working closely with Product Development, Planning, Commercial, and Communications teams. They lead the Watch Product Marketing team to enhance the desirability, brand consistency, and business performance of the category.

Product Marketing Strategy 

  • Define the international product marketing strategy for the Watches category, in alignment with Tiffany & Co.'s identity, business priorities, and product roadmaps.
  • Lead the creation of compelling product positioning, messaging, and storytelling that resonates with target audiences across all channels.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of go-to-market plans for new product launches, ensuring seamless execution across all marketing touchpoints.
  • Partner with Global Marketing and Creative teams on product campaigns and seasonal activations across all touchpoints: digital, retail, PR, events, and client experience.

Category Management & Market Analysis

  • Contribute to the strategic planning of the Tiffany Watch category, ensuring alignment with overall brand vision and business goals.
  • Partner with Planning and Regional teams to understand product performance, inventory levels, and sales trends.
  • Manage the strategic pricing framework for the Watches category, balancing margin targets and sales goals, and directing pricing strategies based on robust market analysis and competitive intelligence to optimize profitability and market share.
  • Drive product marketing strategies and identify growth opportunities by continuously monitoring and analyzing watch market trends, consumer behavior, and the competitive landscape, incorporating insights from product classification, price points, and sales drivers to inform category development.
  • Drive lifecycle management reviews making recommendations for product discontinuations, as well as partnering with cross functional teams to establish Obsolescence strategies.

High Jewelry Watches

  • Drive the strategic integration of High Jewelry Watches into the overall category marketing plan, ensuring optimal positioning and business growth.
  • Provide leadership and strategic oversight for High Jewelry watch specific initiatives, including cross-functional coordination, event planning, and asset development.
  • Collaborate closely with High Jewelry, Product Development, Logistics and Events teams to maximize visibility, availability, and marketing impact of these exclusive collections.
  • Oversee the identification of hero SKUs and strategic placements for PR and celebrity engagement for High Jewelry Watches.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of the High Jewelry Watches business, guiding strategic adjustments and reporting to senior leadership.

Team Leadership & Cross-functional Management

  • Manage and develop the Product Marketing Watches team, providing clear direction, objectives, and an effective collaborative framework.
  • Lead and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Product Development, Design, Channel Planning, PR, Creative, Digital, and Regional to ensure alignment.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as an advocate for Tiffany & Co. Watches product marketing initiatives.
  • Present Product Marketing strategies and market insights to internal partners
  • Facilitate regular meetings with regional and central teams to ensure consistent understanding and execution of product marketing plans.
  • Develop team skills and strengthen best practices in leadership within the category.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • +10 years experience in Product Marketing within the watch, jewelry, or luxury industry 
  • Proven experience in international responsibilities and managing multi-market launches.
  • Confirmed managerial experience leading teams and coordinating complex cross-functional environments.
  • Solid understanding of the watch market, product storytelling, product details, and luxury client expectations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data, sales trends, and consumer insights to inform strategic decisions 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and present complex information clearly.
  • Process-oriented with a strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel) 
  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Availability for international travel as required by the position.
