At Scale, we develop reliable AI systems for the world’s most important decisions. Scale’s product marketing team is responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive awareness and engagement for Scale’s offerings amongst our core audiences. We take a data-driven approach to understand our customers’ needs and challenges, ensuring that their voices are reflected in product development and messaging. We partner closely with product, engineering, research, sales, comms,  and the broader marketing team to create a cohesive customer experience across all our channels. We aim to provide valuable insights and resources that help our customers execute on their AI transformation journey.

This role will focus on developing and optimizing vertical-specific messaging and content for Scale’s applications business to ensure our messaging resonates with core buyers across verticals. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

You will:

  • Own go-to-market and marketing for financial services and lead the launch of new verticals for Scale’s applications business
  • Develop clear, compelling positioning and messaging for key personas in each vertical, including executive, technical, and business buyers
  • Partner with sales leaders to build and maintain sales plays, battlecards, and enablement that sellers use in active deals, and support live pursuits with tailored messaging and executive briefings
  • Create marketing assets, including decks, one-pagers, videos, blog posts, and web content, that communicate our value to vertical leaders and support our sales team’s pursuits
  • Design and run integrated campaigns and account-based programs in partnership with sales, field marketing, growth marketing, product, and comms, and contribute directly to pipeline targets
  • Work with field marketing and events teams to build vertical event strategies, content, and experiences that drive engagement with customers and target accounts
  • Build the repeatable playbook for taking a new vertical to market, and make the case for where Scale invests next
  • Measure what is working across verticals and accounts, and report on pipeline and program impact to sales and marketing leadership

Ideally you'd have:

  • 6+ years of product marketing, industry marketing, or segment marketing experience in B2B enterprise environments, with experience in financial services or another regulated industry (financial services preferred)
  • A track record of building sales plays, deal support, and enablement alongside sales leaders, and of running ABM, field, or campaign programs tied to pipeline
  • Experience launching or scaling a new vertical or segment, or a clear record of taking a second market to launch faster than the first
  • An understanding of AI/ML technology and/or an intuition for how to build content for executive buyers, IT, and business users
  • The ability to prioritize across several priorities, say no, and influence across functions and levels, including executives, without direct authority
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, storytelling, and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail

Nice to haves:

  • Experience marketing AI, data, or developer platform products to enterprise buyers
  • Experience launching a new vertical at a platform company
  • Experience working with analyst relations teams
  • Experience with customer marketing, including case studies, testimonials, and customer event participation
