What You Will Be Doing
ChargePoint is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to bridge engineering and the market by translating complex EV charging products into clear, compelling technical narratives. This role will support networked charging hardware, energy management software, and fleet solutions.
 
You will create high‑impact technical content, enable sales and partners with accurate positioning, and ensure technical materials stay current as products evolve. This role requires close collaboration with product management and solutions engineering, as well as external engagement through events and customer briefings.
What You Will Bring to ChargePointYou bring the ability to turn technical product details into buyer‑focused storytelling that drives understanding and adoption. Your work will improve sales effectiveness, strengthen product differentiation, and ensure customers and partners have clear, accurate technical guidance. You operate independently, stay close to evolving product capabilities, and use modern tools—including AI—to scale content creation and maintain quality.
Requirements
  • Technical background in EV charging, including knowledge of OCPP, energy management, fleet electrification, or charging infrastructure
  • Proven ability to independently create technical marketing content (e.g., white papers, solution briefs, diagrams, demos)
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to clearly translate complex technical concepts
  • Comfortable working hands‑on with products and collaborating closely with engineering teams
  • Experience using AI tools to support content creation, research, and analysis
Preferred Skills
  • Experience developing competitive technical comparisons based on product capabilities
  • Familiarity with creating architecture diagrams and integration guides
  • Experience supporting product launches with technical positioning and enablement materials
  • Track record of maintaining and scaling technical content libraries
  • Public speaking experience at industry events, webinars, or customer briefings
Location

Remote

ChargePoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $125,000 to $190,000. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
