Overview

Techbridge is seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager who will lead the positioning and communication of our products to the market nationally. This role requires an understanding of nonprofits and their data and technology challenges. A successful candidate will be a quick learner, strategic thinker and a great storyteller who is able to understand Techbridge's offerings and translate their features and benefits into impactful sales, marketing and customer support materials.

The Product Marketing Manager develops product messaging and value propositions for our customers in order to drive awareness, adoption, and ongoing product usage. The Manager will tackle complex problems with a strategic mindset and collaborate cross-functionally to build consensus while leveraging project management expertise.

The ideal candidate leverages quantitative and qualitative insights to fully understand customers and influence their behavior. Equally important is the ability to use key metrics and engagement patterns to measure performance of product marketing programs.

This role calls for an individual with a strong work ethic and a deep desire to support others in realizing success. Our ideal candidate has a can-do attitude, and the ability to independently lead projects, while also being a great team-player with a good eye for detail and outstanding organization skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with product, sales, customer success, and delivery teams to understand the needs of our customers and craft compelling messaging about our products and their features and benefits that resonate with these audiences.
  • Partner with sales and marketing colleagues to ensure that product messaging is clearly communicated through all channels and campaigns.
  • Own the strategy and creation of product focused sales and marketing assets including webinars, white papers, website copy, email content, sales enablement tools and more.
  • Outline a product timeline and oversee the project’s successful execution.
  • Partner with the product team to understand the product roadmap and ensure that releases are represented in the marketing content and campaign calendars.
  • Be the expert on our core audiences – who they are, how they buy and their key buying criteria.
  • Uses customer empathy and data to back up insights about our products and services.
  • Conducts extensive market research and net promoter surveys.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 years or experience in product marketing experience in nonprofit, EdTech, enterprise software or Internet company
  • Knowledge of nonprofit technology space
  • Experience telling engaging customer stories with internal and external stakeholders; you are a skilled storyteller as much as you are a marketer
  • Experience driving business outcomes through data
  • Experience balancing perfectionism with pragmatism in a growing environment
  • Experience distilling technical products, such as an API, to a general audience
  • Extraordinary written communication skills and the ability to take complex product features and mold them into simple benefits and capabilities summaries
  • The ability to effectively set and manage multiple priorities as well as strong time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Salesforce, Canva, ActiveCampaign, WordPress, and Microsoft 365
  • Exceptional customer success skills: good listener, excellent follow-up and follow through, and willingness to support and help others
  • Diligent, efficient, motivated, extremely well organized, and proactive
  • A positive ‘can-do!’ attitude

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing day-to-day technical and design direction.
  • Experience driving business outcomes through data
