About The Role

We're looking for a Product Marketing Manager to build and own the Product Marketing function at GenLogs. This person will help define how we talk about our products, differentiate ourselves in the market, and communicate the value of what we're building as the company grows.

Working closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success, you'll turn complex technical capabilities into clear messaging that resonates with our Shipper, Insurance, Public Sector, Trucking Carrier, and Broker audiences. You'll help shape the broader GenLogs story as our product portfolio evolves, while ensuring our individual products have clear positioning and value propositions.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys setting direction and building from the ground up. You'll have the opportunity to influence how we position our products, bring new capabilities to market, and establish the processes that support Product Marketing as GenLogs grows.

What You'll Do

Product Positioning & Messaging

  • Develop and evolve GenLogs’ product and platform narrative, including how we position our offerings, differentiate ourselves in the market, and communicate our value across different customer segments.
  • Translate complex technical capabilities, product strategy, and customer needs into clear explanations of what our products do, who they serve, and why they matter.
  • Partner with Product to understand the roadmap and ensure our market positioning reflects the problems we're solving and the value we're delivering.

Go-to-Market Strategy & Product Launches

  • Own go-to-market strategy for new products, features, and capabilities, including target audiences, launch plans, cross-functional coordination, and success measures.
  • Work with Product, Sales, and Marketing to prepare teams, coordinate launches, and improve how we bring products to market.
  • Provide input on pricing, packaging, and product strategy based on customer needs, market research, and competitive positioning.

Sales Enablement & Customer Insights

  • Give Sales and Customer Success the resources they need to communicate product value and differentiate GenLogs, including creating presentations, battlecards, one-pagers, and demo narratives.
  • Gather customer feedback, sales insights, and win/loss learnings to better understand what resonates with buyers and where we can improve.
  • Use customer feedback and sales insights to identify what's working, where we're falling short, and where we have opportunities to improve.

Market & Competitive Intelligence

  • Research industry trends, competitors, customer needs, and buying behaviors to identify market opportunities and inform product and marketing strategy.
  • Develop competitive insights and clear differentiation points that help Sales and Leadership understand how GenLogs compares to alternatives in the market.

What You'll Bring

  • 7+ years of product marketing experience within a B2B technology or SaaS environment.
  • Experience developing product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for complex products or solutions.
  • Experience owning product launches and translating technical capabilities into clear, compelling market narratives.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to make complex concepts easy to understand for different audiences.
  • Experience working closely with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to influence strategy and move cross-functional initiatives forward.
  • Experience developing sales enablement materials and conducting market research, competitive analysis, and customer discovery.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • A data-informed approach to evaluating performance and identifying opportunities to improve.
  • Comfort using AI tools to support research, analysis, and day-to-day work.

Bonus

  • Experience building or scaling a Product Marketing function at an early-stage or high-growth company.
  • Experience marketing technical, data-driven, analytics, or AI-powered products.
  • Familiarity with logistics, transportation, insurance, supply chain, or other complex B2B industries.
  • Experience marketing a multi-product platform or solutions serving multiple customer segments
