This role is based in our midtown Manhattan office, with a hybrid schedule of in-office collaboration on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

About the Role

We are looking for an ambitious and strategic Senior Product Marketing Manager to shape the company's market perception, and its image among customers, prospects, and the broader tech community. In this role, you’ll drive thought leadership, customer advocacy, and external storytelling that amplifies our market position and influences both prospects and partners.

This role reports to our VP of Product, Andy Allison. As an integral partner to our marketing team, you will also be working closely with our Product Managers, Customer Success, and Sales teams to define and communicate our value to the market. From customer stories to technical community engagement, you’ll ensure our narrative resonates with technical and business audiences, strengthens our category position, and supports revenue growth.

What will you be doing?

  • Leading market positioning and category definition efforts, ensuring consistent, differentiated messaging across channels
  • Developing and amplifying customer stories, case studies, and advocacy programs to support enterprise sales and market credibility
  • Driving thought leadership content strategy (whitepapers, benchmarks, point-of-view content) that influences industry conversations
  • Creating compelling narratives and technical messaging that translate complex product capabilities into clear value for multiple audiences
  • Partnering with Field Marketing to craft impactful content for campaigns, events, webinars, and ecosystem partnerships
  • Engaging with user communities to extend reach, relevance, and credibility
  • Acting as the external voice of the customer, feeding insights back into Product and Sales for roadmap and GTM alignment
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure consistent messaging across sales, marketing, and partner ecosystems

What experience are we looking for?

  • Product Marketing experience gained at a B2B SaaS company, with a track record of influencing external market perception
  • Strong background in customer advocacy — creating reference programs, case studies, and customer-driven storytelling
  • Demonstrated ability to craft and deliver strategic thought leadership content that resonates with technical and business audiences
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify technical complexity
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects to meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and building credibility with senior stakeholders internally and externally
  • The ability to adapt, switch gears, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Deep hands-on experience with Apache Kafka in production environments
