You will define and champion new products and enhancements across our OTC derivatives risk analytics platform, working hands-on with cross-functional teams to bring compelling, market-differentiated solutions to life.

Reporting to the Managing Director, this role demands a proactive, execution-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced fintech environment. You will partner closely with engineering to ensure system performance meets our service level objectives, translate complex business and user needs into clear functional requirements, and keep stakeholders aligned on progress, timelines, and dependencies. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in OTC derivative including how they are priced, traded, and risk-managed and knows how to translate that knowledge into product experiences that resonate with clients and drive commercial outcomes.

What You'll Do

  • Own and actively manage the product backlog, ensuring all items are clearly defined with concise functional requirements that accurately capture the intended user experience and business value
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of product initiatives from requirements gathering and prioritization through development, QA, launch, and post-release optimization
  • Collaborate tightly with engineering to define acceptance criteria, resolve blockers, and ensure delivered functionality performs in alignment with service level objectives
  • Define and elaborate new product concepts and enhancements that address client pain points, open new market opportunities, and strengthen the platform's competitive position
  • Develop and maintain clear project plans, communicating progress, target dates, and risks to stakeholders in a timely and transparent manner
  • Identify, track, and proactively manage cross-functional dependencies to ensure delivery commitments are met
  • Engage directly with clients, sales, and internal stakeholders to gather feedback, validate solutions, and surface unmet needs
  • Support the sales cycle by demonstrating platform capabilities, articulating product value, and identifying points of friction that inhibit conversion or expansion
  • Define and monitor product performance metrics, using data to inform roadmap prioritization and continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of product management experience in financial technology, with a demonstrated track record of owning and delivering complex products end-to-end
  • Deep understanding of OTC derivatives including interest rate derivatives, commodity derivatives, credit derivatives, FX derivatives, and related instruments and how they are traded, valued, and risk-managed
  • Hands-on experience with risk analytics platforms or trading/risk systems used by banks, asset managers, or broker-dealers
  • Proven ability to write clear, concise user stories and functional requirements that development teams can execute with confidence
  • Strong project management skills with experience managing stakeholder expectations, timelines, and dependencies across multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Collaborative, client-focused mindset with the ability to translate complex domain knowledge into intuitive product experiences
  • Entrepreneurial drive with a bias toward action, ownership, and continuous improvement
  • Prior experience in a front office/middle office role is a plus

Location

  • Hybrid in NYC or Walnut Creek, CA

Benefits

  • Base salary, equity, and annual bonus as part of the compensation package
  • 40 hours of sick leave
  • 18 days of PTO
  • Paid parental leave
  • 401K contribution at 3%
  • Competitive health benefits including HSA & FSA options, life insurance, and short-term disability

The expected salary for this position is $190,000 - $225,000 and is eligible for a discretionary bonus and equity. We will consider your skills, experience, and location when determining your pay.
