About the company

Our client is a fast-growing software company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Own product engineering problems that call for both speed and correctness, carrying front-end and feature work from a rough first draft to production quality. Extend software that includes AI-driven behaviors and work directly with senior leadership in a flat engineering organization.

What you'll do

- Take on product engineering problems that demand accuracy and a fast pace, and see them through to a polished finish.

- Finish and harden front-end work that begins as AI-assisted drafts.

- Build new AI-driven behaviors and widen the set of tools that an automated assistant feature can use.

- Connect language models to user-facing product workflows.

- Ship reliably and quickly with a high degree of ownership.

- Work closely with design, front-end and engineering leadership colleagues.

Requirements

What we're looking for

- 1 to 4 years of experience shipping product engineering work, ideally at a startup.

- Strong front-end skills with real product engineering depth.

- Fluency with AI coding tools as a way to work faster, combined with careful review of every line of code.

- Comfort building with agent-style systems that rely on language models.

- Proven pace and high agency, with a track record of moving through hard problems without long lead times.

- Clear, genuine preference for startup work over large-company environments.

- Evidence of self-started projects such as side businesses, personal apps or hackathon builds.

- Low ego, collaborative working style and a sense of ownership when discussing past achievements.

- Ability to work on-site five days a week.

Bonus points

- Prior delivery of features powered by language models, from design through release.

- A front-end background paired with strong product instincts, noticing when the user experience is off rather than building strictly to spec.

- Experience at a high-growth startup through a rapid scaling phase.

- Public side projects or a visible GitHub footprint.

- Exposure to the travel industry.
