WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT FOR US

The Product Solutions Architect, Enterprise is a senior, highly visible role responsible for advising institutional clients at the executive level on how SimCorp One enables operating model transformation, and for bringing market truth back into every product decision.

Our clients manage trillions in assets and are navigating extraordinary complexity. They expect guidance from SimCorp on how to establish the optimal infrastructure and business setup to achieve both investment alpha and operational alpha. The Product Solutions Group exists to deliver that guidance, owning the standard configurations, reference architectures, and best practice workflows that define how clients implement SimCorp One as one integrated, out of the box solution.

As an Enterprise Architect, you bring broad expertise across the full investment lifecycle. You can walk into a major institutional client, discuss operating model transformation at the executive level, and translate that conversation into concrete product and platform implications, effectively serving as a direct extension of product leadership with the authority and credibility to represent the product organization at the highest levels.

This role sits within Product Management, reporting to the Head of Product Solutions.

Role Scope

You cover the full investment lifecycle from front office through middle and back office, advising clients on how portfolio management, trading, risk, performance, operations, and accounting connect as one integrated platform. You lead cross domain scoping for complex implementations, define implementation patterns by client archetype (asset manager, asset owner, insurer, sovereign wealth fund), and ensure SimCorp One delivers as a cohesive enterprise solution rather than a collection of disconnected capabilities.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Client & Market Leadership: You engage with C suite and senior client stakeholders, commanding credibility and building relationships that establish SimCorp as a trusted advisor in business transformation. You connect front, middle, and back office workflows into integrated SimCorp One solutions, translating enterprise strategy into platform implications. You represent product leadership independently in strategic client engagements, pre sales situations, and industry forums.

  • Market Intelligence & Product Influence: You synthesize insights from client engagements, competitive dynamics, and industry trends into prioritized strategic recommendations. You ensure implementation learnings flow directly into the product roadmap and identify cross client patterns that should become standard configurations or new capabilities.

  • Enabling Scale: You define what good looks like for enterprise client archetypes including asset managers, asset owners, insurance companies, and sovereign wealth funds. You own the standard configurations and reference architectures that guide how clients implement SimCorp One, and train implementation teams to deliver consistently across SimCorp's global client base.

WHAT WE VALUE

  • Domain Expertise & Market Knowledge: 15+ years of experience in solution architecture, solution engineering, strategic consulting, or client facing product roles within institutional investment management platforms. Deep understanding of the full investment lifecycle across front, middle, and back office. Strong knowledge of institutional asset management workflows, asset classes, regulatory requirements, and the operating models of asset managers, asset owners, sovereign wealth funds, and insurers.

  • Executive Presence & Trusted Advisor Credibility: Demonstrated ability to engage at the executive level with C suite and senior client stakeholders, commanding credibility and trust. Consultative approach with experience navigating complex client dynamics and delivering difficult messages with clarity and professionalism. Fluency in both strategy (operating models, target state, transformation roadmaps) and execution (platform capabilities, configuration, implementation patterns).

  • Strategic Communication & Influence: Experience translating between institutional client requirements and product strategy. Ability to synthesize market feedback, competitive signals, and implementation learnings into actionable product recommendations. Data driven approach using competitive intelligence and customer feedback to inform product decisions and establish thought leadership.

BENEFITS

Competitive salary, bonus scheme, and pension are essential for any work agreement. However, in SimCorp, we believe we can offer more. Therefore, in addition to the traditional benefit scheme, we provide an excellent work & life balance: flexible work hours, a hybrid workplace model. On top of that, we have IP sprints where you have 3 weeks per quarter you can spend on mastering your skills as well as contributing to the company development. There is never just only one route - we practice an individual approach to professional development to support the direction you want to take.
