WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT FOR US

The Product Solutions Architect for Private Markets is a senior role responsible for defining what good looks like across SimCorp’s Private Markets domain and translating deep domain expertise into repeatable, scalable SimCorp One client implementations.

Winning in Private Markets and Total Portfolio Management is a strategic priority for SimCorp as institutional investors increasingly allocate capital to private equity, private credit, infrastructure, and real assets, and demand a unified view across public and private investments. Clients depend on these capabilities to manage complex investment structures, long investment lifecycles, and data‑intensive processes.

The Product Solutions Group owns the standard configurations, reference architectures, and best‑practice workflows that define how clients implement SimCorp One as one integrated, out‑of‑the‑box solution. As a Domain Architect, you are the authoritative voice on how SimCorp One Private Markets solutions should be adopted across different client archetypes.

This role sits within Product Management, reporting to the Head of Product Solutions.

Role Scope

You cover SimCorp’s Private Markets domain, spanning private equity, private credit, real assets, and fund-of-funds structures. This includes end‑to‑end workflows such as deal onboarding, capital calls and distributions, valuation and NAV processes, cash flow forecasting, performance and exposure analysis, and Total Portfolio views that integrate public and private assets.

You understand how these workflows connect across investment teams, operations, finance, and risk functions, and you define implementation patterns that translate deep domain expertise into repeatable client outcomes. You also play a key role in shaping how intelligent document processing supports Private Markets data ingestion, validation, and lifecycle management.

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT FOR US

  • Client & Market Leadership: You engage with portfolio managers, private markets operations leads, and CIOs as the definitive subject matter expert on Private Markets workflows. You advise clients on how to implement SimCorp’s Private Markets capabilities to improve transparency, reduce manual processes, and support scalable growth across complex portfolios. You represent product leadership in client engagements and act as an escalation point when implementations require specific domain guidance.

  • Market Intelligence & Product Influence: You bring competitive and market intelligence on Private Markets platforms back into product decisions, identifying capability gaps and emerging client needs. You ensure implementation learnings directly inform roadmap priorities for Private Markets and Total Portfolio functionality. You identify cross‑client patterns and convert them into reusable standard configurations or productization candidates.

  • Domain Standards & Enablement: You own the standard configurations and reference architectures for Private Markets workflows, including fund structures, transaction processing, valuation, cash flow modeling, and Total Portfolio integration. You enable implementation teams through training and guidance, ensuring consistent delivery without requiring deep Private Markets expertise on every engagement.

WHAT WE VALUE

  • Domain Expertise & Market Knowledge: 15+ years of experience in solution architecture, product management, solution engineering, or senior client‑facing roles focused on Private Markets investment technology. Deep understanding of private equity, private credit, and real assets workflows, including fund structures, capital activity, valuations, and performance measurement. Strong knowledge of Total Portfolio concepts, integrating private and public assets into a unified investment view. Experience with intelligent document processing and data automation within Private Markets is a strong advantage.

  • Trusted Advisor Credibility: Demonstrated ability to engage with investment professionals, operations leaders, and senior stakeholders with credibility and authority. A consultative mindset, with experience guiding clients toward best‑practice Private Markets operating models while maintaining strong relationships. Fluency in both strategy (target state workflows) and execution (how SimCorp enables them).

  • Strategic Communication & Influence: Proven ability to translate institutional client requirements into product strategy within the Private Markets domain. Skilled at synthesizing market feedback, competitive signals, and implementation insights into actionable recommendations for product leadership.
