Product & Solutions Manager, Identity Initiatives 

Reports To: Frances Zelazny 

FLSA Status: Exempt 

Location: USA East Coast

As the Product & Solutions Manager, Identity Innovations you will be responsible for creating a new set of capabilities in Prove’s platform, from 0 to 1. This role will initiate all product planning activities, including developing product roadmap for our new market innovations, which include privacy-preserving biometrics, as well as authoring product specifications and attending scrum meetings with your engineering partners, basically being the expert in Prove’s how these innovations fit into the tech stack across the organization. You will also serve as a technical solutions partner, supporting sales and client teams with demos, POCs, and deep technical discovery to bring biometric and emerging identity capabilities to market.

This individual works with cross functional teams including Finance, Technology, Data Engineering, Support, Compliance, Info Sec, Implementations, Operations and other Product Managers to ensure that Prove consistently delivers excellence to the identity market.

Prove’s capabilities help users identify themselves to our customers with a high level of confidence while minimizing user experience friction. Biometrics supplement Prove’s overall goal of increasing trust across the internet, and our vision is to do so in a way that preserves user privacy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage & prioritize roadmap, partnering with leadership, technology, solutions, marketing, & sales/customer success
  • Manage enhancements & partner with engineering to review backlog, story requirements, and ensure accurate and timely delivery
  • Partner with Sales and Solutions Engineering on technical discovery, POCs, and customer demos for biometric capabilities
  • Act as internal and external SME on Prove's biometric and identity innovation stack
  • Support RFP/RFI responses and technical sales conversations
  • Identify and maintain full list of product configurations, including third party components and implementation details as well as publishing internal documentation
  • Validating and reporting on the status and health of each capability
  • Partner with Risk, Legal, Compliance, Information Security to ensure platform capabilities meet all necessary risk & regulatory requirements
  • Partner with Technical writers as appropriate to ensure customer-facing documentation is up-to-date and clear
  • Partner with Client Success to resolve client issues surrounding implementation, billing and, reporting
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and set realistic expectations
  • Performing other duties as assigned

 Qualifications and Experience

  • 5+ years experience in a customer-facing product management, solution engineering, sales engineering, technical consulting , or equivalent experience with creating and deploying biometric, identity, risk and/or compliance offerings capabilities
  • Demonstrated track record crafting technical product positioning, messaging, and content, with the ability to synthesize and present complex concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Strong technical background, either from academic, engineering, or hands-on product development experience 
  • Strong consensus and relationship-building skills, with experience marshaling resources across different functions of an organization 
  • Experience with privacy-preserving cryptographic techniques a plus
  • Experience with identity management platforms (Okta, Entra, etc.) a plus
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to multitask, prioritize, and detail-oriented
  • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Experience in a high growth startup/pre-IPO technology companies with quickly expanding teams and aggressive revenue growth plans

The anticipated salary pay range for Metro 2 areas for this role is $165,000-$185,000 plus sales incentive plan.
The anticipated salary pay range for Metro 3 areas for this role is  $150,000-$170,000 plus sales incentive plan. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, geo-location and abilities as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Prove follows a market driven compensation philosophy based on geographic location and respective market rates. Job offers will be aligned to location. Please speak with your recruiter if you have questions. Prove defines:

  • Metro 2 - NYC metro area, Seattle metro area, Los Angeles metro area, and the Miami metro area.
  • Metro 3 - all other cities across the domestic United States, with the exception of the San Francisco Bay Area.
