Product Stewardship & Regulatory Compliance Specialist (m/f/d) Europe & Asia

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Product Stewardship & Regulatory Compliance Specialist, you will help ensure that our products meet applicable chemical regulations and safety requirements throughout their lifecycle.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure compliance with chemical regulations in Europe and Asia.
  • Manage regulatory registrations, notifications, and reporting obligations.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on products, materials, and business activities.
  • Advise internal teams and customers on chemical regulatory and product stewardship topics.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS), product labels, and hazard classifications, including dangerous goods requirements.
  • Support and coordinate the approval of new products and the introduction of new materials.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders in a global matrix organization, including R&D, Product Management, Supply Chain, Quality, and Sales.
  • Represent the company in relevant industry associations and external regulatory forums.
  • Collaborate with global colleagues and contribute to consistent product stewardship standards across regions.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • A degree in Chemistry, Biology, Toxicology, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or a comparable scientific discipline.
  • Professional experience in Product Stewardship, Regulatory Affairs, or chemical regulatory compliance.
  • Sound knowledge of chemical regulations, registration requirements, and hazard communication.
  • Experience with Safety Data Sheets, labeling, hazard classification, and dangerous goods topics.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements in Asia, especially Vietnam, China, Korea is a strong advantage.
  • Very good English communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Confident use of SAP and other relevant digital systems.
  • Experience working in a global matrix organization is an advantage.
  • A proactive, collaborative, and detail-oriented working style.
