Product Manager, UX and Data Accessibility
The Mission:
This is a critical and exciting time at Enigma. We are hearing from repeated customers that our product is creating tremendous value for them and is aligned perfectly with their needs. At the same time, we continue investing heavily in our product while overcoming many complex technical challenges.
We are looking to hire an experienced product manager who can own and scale our data products. You will play a critical role in creating a product roadmap that maximizes the value to customers and leading the roadmap execution.
The Role:
As a Product Manager on the user experience team, you will work with a team of engineers, designers and marketers to enable Enigma's customers to frictionlessly access and learn about our data. You will be responsible for analyzing new markets and unlocking new growth opportunities by building ways for new, valuable customer segments to access our data.
In pursuit of these goals, you will become an expert on the customer needs you’re solving, identify opportunities to improve the product, and lead your team through product development.
Examples of some work you may do on this team:
- Designing and implementing an integration of our data with Salesforce
- Building new APIs that enable customers to programmatically upload large batches for enrichment
- Reinventing the signup flow on our website and user console
We are looking for someone who will:
- Gather product insights by interviewing existing and potential customers
- Set the product roadmap and product priorities
- Help the engineers and data scientists on your team problem solve through problem decomposition and solution brainstorming
- Deeply understand our customers' workflows and design new features that make integration seamless
- Determine the growth strategy for the product, working collaboratively with marketing and sales
- Work hand in hand with customer success to identify opportunities to deliver even more value to your customers
What makes this job interesting:
- Ownership: you will have the opportunity to lead a product end-to-end, from ideation to delivery
- Timing: you will be joining Enigma right as we unlock product-market fit, and will be a driving force behind our future growth
- Impact: you will make a major impact on Enigma's product roadmap from day one
Our ideal candidate will:
- Bring 3-5 years of professional experience as a product manager, data scientist, analyst or software engineer
- Have a basic capability of manipulating data using Python or SQL
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills while working with customers and our internal teams
- Prioritize working on things that drive the most impact rather than trying to get everything done
- Bring experience using or managing API-based products
Bonus points if you:
- Have an advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or Business
- Bring professional experience as a product manager leading enterprise software products
- Bring experience working directly with enterprise customers
- Bring experience managing or working closely with a design team
