Production Associate I - All Shifts

Description

1st shift (6 am - 2:30 pm) UMR Warehouse

2nd shift (2:30 pm - 11:00 pm) UMS/Secondary Ops Warehouse

3rd shift (10 pm - 6:30 am) UMR Warehouse

General Description:

The Production Associate is responsible for various tasks on the production floor as assigned by the Shift Supervisor.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Actively participate in stopping and correcting unsafe conditions and behaviors

· Demonstrate daily evidence of continuous improvement efforts of 5S and autonomous maintenance

· Treat quality as a key pillar of our success by always doing the right thing for our customers

· Solve problems daily by working together as an engaged team member

· Unpackage and prepare raw material for use in production

· Retrieve and prepare work in process parts for the next production process

· Prepare finished products for inventory by assembling packaging material, labeling, taping, stacking, inspecting, and recording information

· Help in the relief of breaks as needed

· Maintain records and documentation

· Other projects and tasks as assigned

Requirements

·

Experience:

· Ability to work independently

· Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and safety standards

· Sound communication skills and excellent problem-solving ability

· Possess skills required to improvise and adapt where needed

Education:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Represent the company in a professional, positive and enthusiastic manner in all matters

· Comply with occupational safety regulations

· Work in shifts and overtime as required.

· Able to lift 50 lbs.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base pay offered will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for additional benefits to the base pay range listed above.
