Position Summary

Qnity Electronics is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations and ensure the safe, efficient, and cost-effective production of high-quality products. This role is responsible for supervising production personnel, coordinating schedules, optimizing equipment and resource utilization, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Production Supervisor plays a key role in meeting customer demand while maintaining quality, safety, and operational excellence standards.

IMPORTANT: This position works a rotating 12-hour schedule* that consists of:

  • Week 1: 6:00 pm to 6:00 am (Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday)
  • Week 2: 6:00 am to 6:00 pm (Friday, Saturday & Sunday)
  • Week 3: 6:00 pm to 6:00 am (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)
  • Week 4: 6:00 am to 6:00 pm (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)

*There may be additional OT hours as required by Operational Needs

This is a 100% onsite position located in our Pasadena Texas facility.

What You Will Do
  • Lead daily manufacturing operations, including production, processing, assembly, packaging, and equipment utilization.

  • Develop and execute production schedules based on customer demand, staffing levels, material availability, equipment capacity, and operational priorities.

  • Supervise, coach, and develop manufacturing personnel to ensure productivity, quality, safety, and engagement goals are achieved.

  • Monitor production performance and implement corrective actions to address operational issues, bottlenecks, and quality concerns.

  • Ensure equipment is operating efficiently and support troubleshooting activities to minimize downtime.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, cost reduction, throughput, and operational efficiency.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Maintenance to support business objectives.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, quality standards, and operating procedures.

  • Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

  • Support workforce planning, training, performance management, and employee development activities.

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or equivalent technical training preferred.

  • 3+ years of manufacturing, production, or operations experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • 1+ years of experience leading, supervising, or coordinating production teams.

  • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, production scheduling, quality systems, and safety programs.

  • Experience troubleshooting production issues and implementing corrective actions.

  • Ability to analyze operational data, identify trends, and drive improvements in productivity, quality, and efficiency.

  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to work effectively across shifts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production/manufacturing reporting systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.

  • Experience in electronics, semiconductor, advanced materials, chemical processing, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.

  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, or related certifications.

  • Experience with ERP, MES, SAP, Oracle, or similar manufacturing systems.

  • Demonstrated success leading continuous improvement, cost reduction, or operational excellence initiatives.

  • Experience supporting workforce planning, employee development, performance management, and training programs.

  • Knowledge of ISO, quality management systems, and workplace safety regulations.
