Program Director, White Plains Behavioral Health Center
We are seeking an experienced, collaborative leader to oversee daily operations of our multidisciplinary outpatient behavioral health clinic serving children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of mental health needs. Working closely with the Administrative Director for Outpatient Mental Health Programs, you will ensure efficient, high-quality services and rapid access to care, while building operational excellence and strong community partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead day-to-day clinic operations, including efficient resource management, oversight of staff productivity standards, implementation of performance improvement initiatives, and program redesign that balances fiscal goals with excellent clinical care
- Directly supervise or oversee the supervision of all non-medical staff (front office, Program Coordinators, and therapists) and partner with the Clinical Director on medical staff oversight
- Strengthen partnerships with White Plains Hospital and programs across St. Vincent's/St. Joseph's Hospital
- Manage the budget while fostering a supportive, positive work environment
- Promote collaboration, continuous learning, and integrated, trauma informed, evidence-based care
Key Requirements:
- 3--5+ years of proven leadership in behavioral health program management, clinical operations, and staff supervision
- Advanced NY State Behavioral Health license (LCSW or LMHC-D preferred)
- Ability to balance budgetary/productivity goals with high-quality, accessible care and effective team leadership
- Strong collaboration and change-management skills with internal teams and external partners
- Knowledge of best-practice, integrated BH treatment approaches across the lifespan
- Bilingual Spanish preferred, not required
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and documentation workflows, including concurrent documentation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Salary: $115,000 -- $125,000 (commensurate with experience)
