About the Role

Forma is looking for a Program Manager, Financial Operations to own the operational backbone of how member funds move through our platform — pre-tax contributions and investments, our pre- and post-tax card programs, and member tax documentation — and to manage the vendor relationships that power that infrastructure.

You'll be the person who understands how money actually moves through Forma's systems, catches and resolves issues before they reach members, and works daily with banking operations and engineering to keep things running and make them better over time.

You Will
  • Maintain financial plans and forecasts

  • Own end-to-end fund flow operations for member funds, including HSA contributions, Forma's pre- and post-tax card programs, and related tax documentation.

  • Manage the day-to-day operational relationship with Forma's financial infrastructure vendors, serving as the primary point of contact for each.

  • Triage and resolve daily escalations related to fund flows, card operations, and vendor issues, coordinating with Engineering and Support as needed.

  • Partner with banking operations to identify gaps and streamline day-to-day processes.

  • Lead or support technical project management for vendor integrations, platform changes, and operational improvements.

  • Monitor fund flow and vendor data to identify trends, risks, and process improvement opportunities.

  • Support tax documentation processes and vendor coordination to ensure accurate, timely member tax forms.

  • Provide member-level data and analysis to support invoicing and other cross-functional finance needs.

Preferred Skills
  • 5+ years in operations, financial operations, or technical program/project management, ideally in fintech, HR tech, or benefits administration.

  • Experience managing vendor or banking/financial infrastructure relationships, ideally including owning or negotiating contracts with major financial institutions (e.g., JPMC or similar).

  • Strong background in B2B invoicing and billing operations, including working knowledge of billing platforms.

  • Strong data analytics skills — able to pull, interpret, and act on operational data.

  • Experience with escalation management and cross-functional issue resolution in a technical or platform-driven environment.

  • Excellent executive communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial detail for non-finance stakeholders.

  • Comfort working directly with engineering and technical teams on integrations and operational tooling.

  • Familiarity with HSA administration, card programs, payments infrastructure, or banking-as-a-service platforms a plus.

  • Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment with evolving processes and cross-functional dependencies.
