In this Program Manager role will focus on workforce planning and utilization strategy of a field-based business. It's designed for, but not limited to, someone stepping out of a senior analyst or junior program role into a more impactful position, with a clear path toward people leadership.
- Managing the implementation of large and complex programs.
- Provides overall leadership and support to one or more project teams.
- Acts as front-line contact on program related activities, issues, and risks.
- Manages risks and issues and takes corrective measurements.
- Interfaces with Business Unit Leaders and finance to develop ROI, and other financial measures.
- Partners with purchasing to develop POs and manages suppliers and vendor relationships.
- Manages stakeholders' communication.
- Defines the program governance (controls).
- Plans the overall program and monitors the progress and performs daily program management throughout the program life cycle.
- Manages the programs budget and financial performance.
- Coordinates the projects and their interdependencies.
- Manages and utilizes resources across projects.
- May manage the performance of direct reports by defining accountabilities, establishing performance objectives and goals, providing feedback and guidance and ensuring that all policies are understood and adhered to.
- Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
- Performs other duties as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
- Bachelors' degree required
SKILLS
- Demonstrated leadership ability, technical and business acumen and industry knowledge.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels, with Executive Level reporting and escalation experience.
- Proven ability to build and lead integrated teams from various internal and external organizations across multiple sites.
- Communication across programs, projects and areas (business functions and IT functions).
- Background in the development of strategic and tactical planning of technology and people resources necessary for successful completion of several large-scale projects.
- Ability to achieve broadly communicated objectives with a minimal amount of supervision.
- Ability to promote innovative ideas and accept the risks that are required to lead change.
- Ability to make decisions independently and to assume higher-level leadership responsibilities in critical situations.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and financial skills.
- Ability to innovate under new and/or changing conditions.
EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of project management experience running large-scale, distributed/complex projects with multiple parallel threads of work.
- Power BI, Data Modeling, AI, workforce planning
- Experience with cross geographical project coordination and management.
- Experience in Organizational Change Management.
What we offer:
- Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career . The estimated salary range for this position is $113,000 to $125,000 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 20% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
