Overview

As a Project Coordinator I, you will be responsible for supporting various project tasks and will be assigned specific responsibilities as identified by the project management team.  These tasks may include partial or full responsibility for scheduling and tracking activities at client sites, coordinating schedules with cb20 resources/partners/clients, providing information for status reports and other assigned activities.  A Project Coordinator I candidate should be motivated, detail oriented, dedicated, and able to take direction and work within a collaborative environment.  As a Project Coordinator I you will be expected to effectively communicate with different groups in the company as well as organize and distribute project data to the teams designated to specific projects. You will follow a designated project management methodology to achieve all tasks assigned by the Project Management Team.

Key Responsibilities

 

The Project Coordinator I is primarily responsible for:

  • Executing tasks and assignments as directed/assigned by the Project Management team
  • Coordinating assigned aspects of a project or a portfolio of projects:
    • Coordinating schedules across company resources, partners, and client locations to complete work according to project schedule
    • Contacting client sites to confirm delivery of product/materials prior to the scheduled site work/visit
    • Tracking progress of on-site work and updating status information in various company and/or client tracking tools
    • Providing status data and information to the project management team for creation of client status reports
  • Supporting the project managers:
    • Tracking order data and reporting on project activities including time entries and billing
    • Effectively communicating status and issues to the project team, and requesting assistance with activities when necessary
    • Providing regular updates to Project Managers on actions completed and planned
    • Organizing and distributing project data to field teams designated to specific projects
    • Adhering to the designated project management methodology

Recommended Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience 
  • 1-2 years of experience working within project environments, and/or coordinating activities related to projects/programs/operational activities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to take direction and effectively perform on a team
  • Discipline to adhere to processes, be proactive and follow-up
  • Ability to work and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
