ResponsibilitiesThe Project Executive (PX) is responsible for pursuit of opportunities, pre-construction, contract negotiations, and the high-level execution, controls, cost, risk and business management of a single or multiple projects. They must also maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and new business.
  • Guide multiple jobs and multiple job teams operationally in each phase including pre-construction, construction, closeout, and post-construction services
  • Formulate and develop contract terms with clients and communicate to project team
  • Ensure that the project strategy is clearly defined and communicated and drive the strategy throughout job set up
  • Collaborate with Estimating and Purchasing in the up-front set up of projects to insure profitability, client satisfaction and the best subs for the job
  • Promote positive subcontractor relations by dealing professionally and fairly with all subcontractors and vendors, and continually instilling this philosophy in the project team
  • Communicate effectively with field team members as well as keeping them active in decision-making.
Qualifications
  • 15+ years of Construction Management experience
  • Proven track record of successful projects
  • Must have ability to achieve and maintain financial control and profit goals for projects
  • Business development/heavy client interaction a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and work experience
  • Additional Role Specific Skills:
    • Vast knowledge of all trades and phases of the entire construction process: scope, cost, time frames/field execution, typical risks & exposure
    • Extensive people management experience

Salary Range Information

NYC Base Salary Range: $200,000 – $300,000.  The range stated is specific to New York City.  Placement within the listed range depends on many factors including, but not limited to years of experience, project size capability (for Construction & Field roles) and internal company equity.
