Key Responsibilities
- The Agile Coach is responsible for coaching, mentoring, and guiding product teams, leaders, and stakeholders through Agile adoption and transformation initiatives across MTA-IT. This role requires demonstrated experience enabling and supporting Agile and/or enterprise transformation efforts in large, complex environments.
- It advances large-scale Agile Transformation efforts by promoting Agile principles, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and driving continuous improvement. The Agile Coach partners with teams to enhance delivery practices, align outcomes with business objectives, and improve operational excellence.
- Key responsibilities include coaching teams on Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban; facilitating training sessions and workshops; implementing best practices and tools; and leveraging metrics to inform decision-making and improve performance.
- This position operates in a consultative capacity without direct managerial responsibilities, focusing on influencing teams, enabling cultural change, and supporting enterprise-wide Agile maturity in alignment with the broader MTA-IT strategy.
Additional Skills and Information:
- Bachelor’s or a master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of software development experience
- At least 8 years of Agile coaching experience
- Proven experience coaching for agile product transformations in large, complex environments
- Demonstrated hands-on experience leading enterprise-wide agile transformation initiatives
- Strong background in change management, organizational design, and driving cultural transformation at scale
- Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC, ICP-ATF), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), or equivalent credentials.
