Manage end-to-end data analytics engagements aimed at solving complex business problems for clients. Gather business requirements, develop project plans, define milestones, and coordinate efforts between cross-functional teams. Apply statistical algorithms, machine learning techniques, and data modeling approaches to develop predictive models and validate business hypotheses.
Responsibilities- Extract, clean, and process large and complex datasets using Structured Query Language (SQL).
- Build and manage data pipelines using big data frameworks such as Hive, PySpark, Scala, and cloud technologies.
- Use tools like Python and R - widely-used programming languages for data science and leverages visualization software such as Tableau, Power BI, and Excel to create dynamic dashboards and automated reports.
- Conduct hypothesis testing using t-statistics and z-statistics to validate the statistical significance of patterns in the data.
- Utilize EXL’s proprietary analytics methodologies, including MICROANALYTICSTM, to break down complex analyses into structured, actionable insights.
- Oversee data quality control, perform feature engineering, and engage in hyperparameter tuning.
- Support code deployment via CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) practices to maintain seamless updates across the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Collaborate with both onshore and offshore resources, presents insights into client stakeholders, and ensure that deliverables meet internal quality standards and client expectations.
- Position may work at various and unanticipated worksites throughout the United States.

Requires Master’s degree in Operations Research, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a directly related field plus Three (3) years of Professional experience in Data analytics, statistical, and project management-related roles. Must have at least 3 years of experience with the following: Python and R, SAS & SQL, Excel and Tableau or PowerBI or related tool, Agile Project Management, Complex and Large Data Structures, End-to-End Solutioning, Statistical Modeling, Client Technical Review. Employer will also accept a Bachelor’s degreeplus Five (5) years of Professional experience in Data analytics, statistical, and project management-related roles in lieu of a Master’s degree plus Three (3) years of Professional experience in Data analytics, statistical, and project management-related roles.
40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm, Salary range: $170,000 to $175,000 per year.
